Hey ubi

So I am a weirdo who uses the old flight controls. Why? it is much easier to outrun SAM's and I genuinely feel like I have more control of my overall momentum. The big down side is I don't have a cross hair or missile lock support. are their any plans to give us old pilot control scheme players a chrosshair and missile lock? should be an easy cut and past with the code.

I wish the "Classic" controls had a HUD. And I wish airplanes had a HUD. I wish airplanes were fun to fly by having rudder control, but instead it's like... ok I'll just use it as a tool to get from A to B, but you're missing out on an opportunity to add content that would make the base game more fun. I think the mechanics change drastically, including other things (like the SAMs, top vertical and horizontal speeds) when the control scheme is toggled.

id kill for an altimeter in the damn planes!!! we all know the SAMs max out at 800m... would it kill ya to add one so im not climbing forever and wasting game time??

oh.. wait... not that im playing nearly as much anymore anyways.. that TU9 was disgusting for what it did to latency!

I loved the old classic helicopter controls too! Except that the weapons controls sucked. They should have just improved the weapons controls instead of making the helicopter fly like a drone.

As of the moment, I don't believe there are currently any plans to bring the cross hairs over to the old helicopter controls.
