Eagle Flight - Known Issues (Updated Windows Mixed Reality)
With the launch of Windows Mixed Reality support on SteamVR, owners of compatible headsets will see Eagle Flight listed as a compatible game through Steam. We are planning an update in early December to address some known issues, listed here:
General information on SteamVR regarding Windows Mixed Reality:

Performance issues:
If you suffer from performance issues, please make sure that you have the latest version of Windows (KB4048955).
There was an issue fixed by this patch that caused CPU performance of all SteamVR games to be reduced by 50%.

Game does not launch in VR:
If you have SteamVR closed and Mixed Reality closed, sometimes the headset will not be detected by the Mixed Reality Portal, and the game will launch, but not in VR.
Fix: Make sure you have Mixed Reality Portal and SteamVR open.
Black screen at launch:
If you are not wearing the headset when the game is launched and Uplay requires a login* (you haven't logged into Uplay previously and checked "remember me"), you may encounter a never-ending black screen on launch.
Fix: Put on your headset, Uplay should launch, then enter your login credentials when prompted to do so and the game will launch normally.
*Please note: The "remember me" checkbox will enable you to automatically launch Uplay as long as you are not logging in on more than one machine.
Stuttering and poor framerate encountered on Microsoft Mixed Reality headsets:
Some video cards default to "Very High (beta)" settings when using the "automatic" quality settings for Mixed Reality visuals.
Fix: Open Windows Settings, search for "mixed" and select "Set the visual quality of Mixed Reality." This will enable you to set the quality manually to either "Medium" or "High" depending on your PC specs.

Headset doesn’t work after computer is locked or goes to sleep:
If your headset goes to sleep, or you lock your computer, there is the chance that Mixed Reality will not register it again, so when you launch the game the headset will not work. When you put on the headset, there is a grey color inside.
Best workaround is to restart your computer.
Menu navigation via controllers:
Pressing the left thumbstick button will open and close the SteamVR dashboard.
If you press the Windows button in game, you will be taken back to the Cliff House (MSMR home). To return to the game, click on the SteamVR panel.
Please note: pressing the right thumbstick button will swap the left and right controllers!
When a controller is disconnected, no message appears to alert the player.
When the controller is reconnected, it will function as normal.
Players will now be prompted to remove their headset to log into Uplay
You can simply press ‘A’ to continue if you launch and log into Uplay in advance.
We are looking into this to see if we can streamline the process further.
The game no longer exits cleanly using Alt-F4
The game may need to be force-quit by the user.

Eagle Flight specific known issues on Windows Mixed Reality:
- Loading screen may pass 100% under certain conditions, and the loading percentage will not display on the headset. This does not occur with other headsets (Oculus/Vive).
- There have been reports of some missing textures on the Expert R mission which could make it difficult to complete.
