So, the deal is, we who don't have phurcased the DLC's for Ghost Recon Wildlands will get the new maps and modes tomorrow like everyone else but we will not be able to get the new classes unless you either buy the new Ghost War pass or wait a week to be able to spend your Prestige points if you have any.
I personally have no problem with this, it's a fair deal from my perspective when thinking about that the DLC owners payed upfront for the DLC's and we who don't have it can either buy the Ghost War Pass for half the price than what the DLC owners bought it for or wait a week to spend Prestige points. We can't demand that everything is "free" in life.
When that is said though, i hope Ubisoft wont keep us in the dark about future content and that they keep a good balance in the relationship between customer/company to prevent situations like the ****storm EA is in right now.
Thoughts?
I rarely have issues with DLC's or the Season Pass thing that everyone does these days. I do think however that if the content in pvp patches is stuck behind a pay wall, thats not right, and will only serve to hurt a pvp community that is already on life support. Me personally, I never bought the DLC's, or the season pass. They just didnt interest me personally. PVP to me is part of the original game package (even though it was really late). If I am forced to buy the season pass just to have access to stuff from tomorrows patch Im honestly not sure what I will do. Money isnt the issue, its more a thing of principle to me in this case. If they sure up a lot of the glitches and bugs, and the new content is good, I may be tempted to do it, even though I feel its bad business. If they create more bugs and still arent able to address ones that the last patch was supposed to fix, then tomorrow may be the beginning of the end for me. Paying $40 just to get the little extra pvp contents is going to really suck though, because I really care nothing about the 2 DLC's, and will likely never play them.
nope i will not spend anymore cash on this game, for numerous of reasons... but given the people that own the dlc or season pass to have this, is okay for me.. no grief there..
When ubisoft really starts to implement F2P mechanics in their games, like BF2 im not gonna be happy.. But that hasn't happened yet. Surely they are looking at what's happening with BF2, and how it will effect sales.. (i personally hope it tanks)...
