    honestly, this character is just ridiculous, even on paper you guys had to know it was going to be way overpowered.

    i'll do a proper write-up tomorrow as it's a bit late for me now.

    but for now, i would say get rid of her ability to soft feint heavys and zone into a bleed from any direction. that makes getting a bleed ridiculously easy. i wouldn't mind the horrendously over-powered bite so much if they had to work for it. but currently she does not, get a nice quick and easy bleed and spam bite.

    i mean come on Dev's, who thought giving a move that is almost impossible to avoid, does tones of damage, restores your stamina, heals you and has no penalty for getting it wrong. was a good idea, seriously?

    this character is ****ing bad ***!

    She is powerful..but don't nerf the **** out of her gameplay. She is really fun and different. most these suggestions will box her in with the other characters too much. if she gets nerf id rather see her damage or heal amount nerfed before her mechanics. i feel like this character is how they all should be. basically rather than nerving her like crazy you should hold off on making new champs and focus on just bringing up the power of the other heroes to be on par with her and some others..cent... basically with her feints why can't orochi feint riptide etc etc.. if you just went into the other characters and reworked them the game would be more fun. bad *** ****ing champ! fun to play, please keep her style, boost the other champs! OUT

    Lawbringer, Warden, Conqueror, Kensei, Orochi, PK, Shinobi should be immune to her bite attack... If you know what I mean

    My opinion is the shaman is totally over powered. Her lunge is almost impossible to dodge. The move where she jumps on you and bites your neck, I have had that happen a couple times where it had taken over 2 1/2 bars of my heal and killing me just this one move. I have seen several lvl one characters taking town rep 20 and above characters like its nothing. Her unblockable, lunge, spam, and bleed are all over powered. She is taking on rep 35 conqs the most defensive character in the game.

    Far too easy to counter as an orochi. I see the pounce thing is a little ridiculous on range. But that would be my only gripe. Hahahahaha b she staggers to orochi chain attacks lol I can pull off chains on her.

    Oh her dodge attack is so slow I can easily riptide off it.

    Orochi doesn't need a buff if this is the competition lol

    Why do her jumps follow me even when I dodge them?
    It is like the jump of the centurio and this does not make any sense.

    This new heroine is really bad when you play with a slower hero.
    She has very much health, she is very fast, she does much damage (her bite just took 2-3 bars of my Highlander) and she can attack from the distance (with her jumps).

    I beat her with several attacks of my Highlander and I thought: "Damn, why does she still have half of her health"

    Why do you not learn ubisoft... Ffs.

    After releasing 3 installments of DLC i felt it is finally time to take to the forums and ***** like everyone else.

    Lets start at the beginning, Assassins Creed was a great franchise and then you brought out ACIII, which was god awful. So I lost faith in you. After i played ACIV it was a good game but a terrible Assassins Creed. Then every AC game following wasn't worth buying, lets face it. You forgot how to make a good game. All the Tom Clancy's are fair bad too by the way.

    AND OUT OF THE MIST AND FOG CAME A SHINING BEACON OF HOPE...

    FOR HONOR!

    And we all loved it, even though it had major flaws such as character balancing and Lag but you had a great idea for a game and you made that vision happen. So for that I thankyou. But after Season 2 came out and we all had to play against The Centurion and Shinobi, everyone called for a nerf on day 1. Not me. I knew that it was just New Character Syndrome, you know, where you find it almost impossible to fight against because you don't know how they fight but they know how you fight.

    Alas, They did need nerfing in some ways as the shinobi's kick was BS and the Centurions Spam was unbearable for most players - But you did fix them, and made them as balanced as you could and you did a real decent job on that.

    Then Season 3 came out and we met the gladiator and Highlander. And I cursed your name as I looked through the gladiator's moveset and realised you gave him everything from grapples to bleeds to throws to light spam and all while having a beautiful deflect aswell. But after months of the community calling for a nerf and being rejected time and time again i started to lose faith in your capability once more. And as of 13/11/2017 (UK) I called for his nerf, trust me, compared to the BS OP Character I saw the next day, he is not a problem at all.

    Enter Season 4 and now I am done with this game... Done with any game ubisoft has to offer as I know that they clearly don't test their own games before releasing or the entire staff are legitimately ******ed as you think 1 person might of queried that the new character shaman HAS EVERYTHING IN THE ****ING GAME AT HER DISPOSAL!!!

    From Endless bleeds to hyper tracking shoves, deflects to parries, Lightspam to a Horribly easy moveset thanks to Blood trance, and it doesn't even have to be her bleed, it can be her teammate's or even your teammate's. Either way, you are gonna get pounced upon. enjoy that 2.5 bars of damage there bucko. plus with a huge recovery time, you are left on the floor for any of her team to come and destroy you.

    IN SHORT - after people died inside for months trying to fight an Over Powered Character like Gladiator, whom had been given to many moves and tricks to utilise. You then Ignore their pleas for the entirety of season 3 but whats worse is that you doubled down on your mistake and made another assassin who has everything yet again.

    FIX IT NOW YOU LAZY, GREEDY FRENCH BASTARDS...

    P.S. Maybe wanna show a little love for a Vanguard or Heavy Characters next time you need an idea for a DLC Character, because I for one am ****ing sick of Assassins and Assassin-Hybrids.

    A constructive shaman feedback... That is gonna be tough.

    I played her on release and she feels like the strongest character by far. Maybe some of it is because we are not yet used to play against her, but even after that she will remain extremely strong. The main problem is that, compared to the other characters, she just has way too many options.

    Some strengths she has:
    Jump attack and melee tackle openers that can be canceled one into the other
    Heavy opener can be soft feinted to light attack for bleed OR into guard break.
    Second light attack guaranteed if the first hits.
    Unblockable heavy finisher.
    Heavy finisher can be soft feinted into any dodge-move (e.g. tackle, spin attack etc.)
    Area attack can be soft feinted into bleed attack from any direction.
    Very strong GB play - long throw distance, guaranteed hits after throw even without wall splat
    Strong Out of Stamina punish - one of the best in game
    self-heal

    This list is already much longer than what some of the other characters have

    But I believe with a few touches she can be toned down to reasonable level.

    The main problem I see is with her openers and her GB throws. There are others but those might go away as people learn to play against her.



    First let's look at her openers. She has several options to initiate a fight:

    Her tackle and leap attack. Stronger versions of what other characters have.
    Leap attack - Very fast heavy that can be launched from any direction. Other characters only have one direction (usually top).
    Tackle - comparable to Warden Shoulder bash and other similar attacks. But... longer reach, longer push distance - easier to wall-splat opponent or push into environmental hazards.
    What's more, these two can be soft feinted into each other. Because one can be canceled into the other they can be chain-feinted (example: Start Jump attack, cancel to tackle, cancel to jump attack, cancel to tackle etc). This makes it extremely difficult to predict which one it is actually going to be.
    Other characters don't have this option. Sometimes they can't cancel at all or they have to hard-cancel (E button on PC).

    Suggestion: Make it impossible to chain the feints. Maybe allow only one cancel so she has to commit. Or remove the feints altogether, make it possible only to hard-cancel. That way she will be more on the level with other characters.

    (Edit: Good suggestion from the next post - Make Predator's Mercy uncancelable. She is in Blood Trance after all. She wants that blood.)

    Other thing is her heavy opener, which can be soft feinted into bleed OR into guard break. That makes three possible options: Let the attack hit, go for GB or go for bleed in different direction.
    This is even stronger than Centurion opener (Centurion can do Heavy attack, heavy charged attack or soft feint to GB. However, the charged attack is guaranteed to come from the same direction).

    Most other characters can only let the attack hit or cancel it. No soft feint at all.

    This goes for the Zone attack as well. She can either hard cancel or soft feint into bleed. Some other characters can't even cancel their zone (e.g. Shinobi).

    Suggestion: Remove either the soft feint to bleed or soft feint to GB. Probably the soft feint to GB so she keeps her bleed. Make it so she has to cancel the heavy (E button on PC) and then GB just like all the other characters do. This too will bring her closer to the level of other characters. Also remove the option to soft feint in the middle of the zone attack.



    That would be the openers. Now let's look at the throw.

    After a throw she can immediately follow up with a guaranteed tackle or jump attack. Other characters only have confirmed hits on wall splats, not on any throw. If the opponent bleeds this is even worse because she can chew their neck and do a tremendous amount of damage without much effort and healing herself in the process.

    Suggestion: Make her tackle and jump attack guaranteed only on wall splat. This will make the mechanic consistent with what the other characters can do.



    These are the main problems I see about her. She just have too many options, combines the best of several characters while adding a few tricks that nobody else has. At the moment she isn't even fun to play because she destroys everything.
