Well, that didn’t work. Met an obnoxious cheater earlier today.

Haters gonna hate. I have noticed a clear decrease in cheaters so far after this update.

Sure, some will find a way around it and start cheating again, but at least we are rid of some of them for now, and hopefully the devs are working on some real solution in the meanwhile.

Dont get me wrong, I totally understand the people who dont cheat and are now upset they cant play it on their favorite devices, but lets not pretend it hasnt made life sour for at least some of the cheaters as well.

And now for people who actually understand how this sort of hack works.......

After any patch the number of cheats will decrease, because the memory address that is used to store the relative values change...... so the hackers have find the new value and then all the cheaters have to get the new version of the hack/new hacked version of the software before they can cheat again.....

That doesn't mean that the devs have in ANY WAY addressed the cheating problem......

I never said they had solved the problem itself. I said that removing support for emulators and rooted devices (where you have full control of the entire environment and the memory in real time) has removed some of the cheaters. I clearly stated "hopefully the devs are working on some real solution in the meanwhile".

And I stand by my statement that I have still not met a single cheater after the update. That is sure to change over time, which I never denied.

So yeah... Please read my original post again instead of replying to something you imagined I wrote.

Really... rooted devices are now officially to be considered disabled...

To stop cheating you don't need to block rooted devices.That's a little overkill for lazy programing

Just have the game files encrypted with a special MD5 key or hash check which is cross check with your servers prior to using online content.

If the check isn't matching you give a warning o the person to re-download the game and files and to not modify them

Thus if the files are messed with they cant use online services.

Many smaller developers do this all the time allowing rooted devices to still enjoy their apps and keeping the files from being tampered with

Guys, seriously?? You removed from this thread all the messages of people complaining about the donation patch? Including mine that was just about space Token bug, not mentioning the donations thing that after all for me is fair for the team members....
