I'm sorry, but if your 'expectation' of a downtime is off by 1 hour every single time, you are probably **** at expecting stuff and should maybe let someone else do more realistic estimates and then communicate those.Originally Posted by Drazmic Go to original post

A buddy of mine is downloading his patch, mine still won't initiate:
To use Network features, you must update the application.
To check the download status of the file, go to the {Notifications} screen.
(NP-31739-3)
Then it gives the CRITICAL ERROR:
A new For Honor update is available.
A client patch will now be installed.

No new notifications, no downloads to check on.
Restarted PS4, checked PS+ membership to kill as much user error as possible.

After the game updated earlier today (PC on Steam) and the update finished installing/downloading (18.4GB is what Steam tells me) I can enter the game and it loads up until the Season IV splash screen. However, when I try to connect to the servers at the "Contacting Servers" load screen it always times out with an Error 7-00000005 and tells me the For Honor servers are unreachable at this time. I was playing just fine yesterday so this seems like an update issue. I'm currently trying the fixes listed on the support site, but is anyone else experiencing this and/or does Ubisoft have any solid fixes?
