I understand that they are used for permantly opening up classes and perks after prestiging, but how in the world do you spend them? I have almost 20,000 prestige points and can't figure out how to spend them. There doesn't seem to be an option to be able to spend them. What is the point of showing me how many I have if they are usless. Why am I accumulating so many points if there is no way to use them. Somebody please let me know if I am missing something because I'm not going to play much longer if all I do is go in circles prestiging and only having a new paint color to show for it. Whats the true purpose of prestiging?

What you are missing is that the purpose of the prestige points is to open up/buy new classes and perks down the line when they introduce them. You cant use them right now.
"- You will also start earning Prestige credits to unlock post-launch content such as the new classes and perks we’ll introduce later on."

You dont earn anything by staying at 50, and if you like me, you have a favourite class or 2 already that you can open quickly as soon as you prestige and use them til you points to open up rest.

This needs to be released sooner than later, also how much prestige points you use to unlock the future classes is going to be a big reason if I keep playing. If its in the 25000 range **** that ****, with that and the bugs that still need addressing I'll be done. That's just an artificial grind to increase sales of xp boosters to the detriment of the this game (and many other games using similar systems in full priced games) and it's getting old. I don't like having to re-unlock all the classes and perks over and over, I'm sure others feel the same way.

I just prestige the other day and was really bummed out i lost everything. I work a lot of hours and have 2 small kids so finding time to play is hard. Now i basically have to start all over unlocking the classes. To me thats a flaw in the system. U reach the top to only get put back to the bottom. Unless i am missing something then i should have just stay at 50 with everything unlocked.

Lol i saw the message pop up but was too excited and clicked it off. After i saw that i was back to square one i thought about the message. Oh well i should have stayed active on the forums. I woukd have known better. But now that i am reading i guess prestige points can be used to unlock other classes. Just wish it would not start u back to square one. I love wildlands and hope more option come soon...(gunsmith, more maps, more modes) i am happy with 4vs 4 but maybe a war mode lobby where its 12 vs 12 and no classes u customize your player how u want.
