    Beginners Feedback

First i would like to apologize for my bad english, i am not a native speaker and some errors may be in my text.

I just recently bought for honor (PS4) and started playing with two friends of mine. We were pretty hyped for the game and started practicing with bots and playing the campaign. After beating the campaign on realistic and doing good in the matches vs. the bots we started playing vs. other players...

Well and what can i say? It was a nightmare. We got destroyed every game. There were no close games, only stomps. So we thought to ourselves "okay lets practice on bots some more and watch some guides on youtube". But even after we did that for some days, we still get destroyed every ****ing game.

All of our enemys are prestige 50+ and the game tells us, our skill levels are close to the enemy. It is very clear this is not true, because we cant win any 1vs1. I know prestige doesnt tell you anything about the actual skill, but it indicates how much time someone spent on the game.

We still try, but it isnt fun. Sometime i regret spending money on this game, and i know my friends are too.

So why is the game in a state that beginners get matched with veterans like that? It is pretty discouraging.

Is the playerbase too small? I dont mind waiting 5 or even 10 minutes for a game if it is balanced. Well alteast a bit more balanced then this.
Is it the matchmaking? If yes, doesnt Ubisoft want to sell more copys? Dont they want people to spend money on microtransactions? Dont they want the players to stay?

I am pretty sure i will get no answers, but i would like to point out how bad the state of the game is for new players. New content is nice, but a good matchmaking is essential for a game that relies on skill so heavily.

Thanks for reading my wall of text.

The game has a pretty big learning curve in my opinion. And i guess its just bad luck because most of the players are pribably veterans and there are small chances that you get matched with another 7 beginners. Its one of those games that playing against bots doesnt teach you much. Unless maybe you play against a lvl 3 bot as the same character you are playing. Lvl 3 bots are pretty tricky and good at mixing up so you may learn to take different aproach because veteran players are hard even for... veteran players

I agree with Gemoroda on this. The game is not an easy thing to just pick up and learn especially this late into it.

It is fun. I would also suggest the practicing on bots. Hell I only play one character in PvP. But I do practice the others against bots to understand their moves better.
