    Female Aramusha

dear Ubisoft could you please add a female Aramusha I really was hoping you wouldn't gender lock my most looking forward too samurai character and was really dissapointed to find you had geneder locked it to a male we already have a huge number of dlc characters that are gender locked to males so why did you gender lock the aramusha. Let your fans have creative freedom to be their own unique female or male character stop gender locking characters.

I see no problem with them adding a different gender for this character in particular, just dont go expecting those fancy cheongsams.

Each new season came with one gender locked character, and one open character. Who were either an Assassin or a Hybrid. Just following the pattern.

There's some characters where it makes sense to gender lock, like the Valkyrie, but others seem to be locked for no reason beyond Ubisoft's own time/budget constraints. I don't see why they can't go back and add male/female options to existing heroes where it would make sense -- like with the Shaman and Aramusha. More customization optuions are always a good thing, so long as they match the style and feel of the game.

The higher ups are always scared of allowing the devs to put female characters in games. Worried it'll effect sales or something. Just try to find the female option of any of the dlc characters in any of the promotion material. They also scrubbed the female Warden from the box-art. You know, the game's postergirl and Jason Vandenberghe favourite hero. This awesome artwork became this. Because the Conquer absolutely represents the Knight faction everywhere else!

The public perception is that people don't like killing women.

    I don't know.

I particularly enjoy dismembering the shaman.

I'll accept my place on the watch-list.

It actually makes sense to have female samurais or specific characters like valk or even the shaman, but now tell me where the hell did you ever see a female warrior like the warden. it's just unfit for the game. even more for the conqueror, where his power is sheer strength. a female with a flail? ok then... or a female raider? ...
