Attack from any angle you say?

Everyone knows that Ubi has really been obsessing over the whole 360 approach. And I like it. You can swing in from water towers, walk through houses to reach them, or whatever. But you can’t say 360 approach without being able to go from below. Remember the very beginning of FC3, where Jason and Grant are making their way out of the camp by crouching under shelters and that little bridge? That’s what I’d really like. Perhaps you can make the sewage pipes accesible, so you can pop out of the toilet and say hello. Does anyone else got ideas?

Out in rural MT, there are not full sewer networks. People have a septic tank, sure, but it's not like a farm has a manhole and a bunch of sewage tunnels running through it. And you must've been joking but pipes from a toilet are far to small to be accessible.... the 'below' is when you can surprise someone on a dock from the water or from below them on a ledge or balcony...

HorTyS has a good point, the geography and regional architecture probably won't allow for some things that worked in previous locations, but I'm sure the team is going to provide us with many unique experiences in FC5 to allow for varied approaches and tactics.

Blood Dragon is not a full-fledged title, and there was nothing about that area that enabled any sort of approach to enemy areas from below or popping out of toilets, but yeah, there was a small sewer area, ya got me....

No worries... I was just being a smart-Alec aka minor troll. It was literally the only “sewer” I could think of.

But yeah, I agree that given the FC5’s location, sewers wouldn’t make sense, certainly not popping out of a toilet lol.

... now hiding in an outhouse, however lol...

The toilet part was a joke. Just wanted to get eveybody thinking. I think crawling underneath docks and mini bridges fits Far Cry perfectly.

I like takedowns of all sorts, so I'm totally down for more areas & instances of using takedown from below. Docks in FC seemed to be the most used area to do them, though ledges had a time or 2. It is probably one of the least common TD to do since there simply aren't all that many occasions to do them. Games like Assassin's Creed have more opportunities because you can create them with climbing to the ledge beneath a guard, but in FC you kinda have to lure a guard or find one in a spot for it.

At any rate, anything that generates opportunities for takedowns I support, so here's hoping they're plenty TD from below moments. Hopefully there are a couple new types of takedowns as well. I'd love a slide takedown, if you slide up to an enemy and hit the TD button.. that'd be awesome!

The same here. Maybe you can go from below in an outhouse, one of those fiberglass models, but that would be extreme, due to the smell. Who would want to?

I'm sure there are mines in MT....either working or abandoned.
