    Game freezes but can still move camera and go to menus.

    Hi guys.

    I waited to play AC:O until I got my Xbox One X yesterday.

    I barely played half an hour when the game just freezes all its motion. I still hear sound and can move the camera, but everything else is frozen as if I am in photo mode.
    When I try to go back to the main menu, the game gets stuck on the loading screen.

    Anyone else getting that and maybe know a fix?

    I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this, it is not a known issue.

    Could you please try the following troubleshooting steps if you haven't already done so.

    1. If you have a disc version of the game check to make sure there are no marks or scratches on the disc. If the disc is dirty clean it with a lint free cloth.
    2. Delete the games install data then reinstall it and install the latest patch update available and try again.
    3. Power cycle your console.
    4. If the issue persists try testing the game in another console if possibe. This will help to determine if there is an issue with the game disc or your console.
    5. If the game works in another console then create a new user profile on your console and try the game again. If the game works the issue is either related to your user profile or it is a corrupted save file, however if it still fails to work then it is most likely an issue with your console. If this is the case please contact Microsoft for further assistance.

    If you haven't already, please can you try these PC troubleshooting steps. In particular, please can you ensure that your drivers are fully up-to-date. I also suggest disabling any background applications, as these can interfere with game files.

    If the issue persists after trying these steps, could you please open a support case and attach an MSinfo and a DxDiag, so we can take a closer look at your system files. Please include all troubleshooting steps you have tried in your case notes, as this will help with the investigation.
