Every time I start up For Honor I get this message from steam: Failed to start process for For Honor: "Access is denied" (0x5). Idk why I can't seem to fix it. I have already tried deleting all the .dll files and ekshaderspc.bin and verify through steam but it didn't fix anything. Is it some sort of bug going on rate now?

Can you please try running Steam and For Honor with administrator rights/?

That fixed the access denied, but now every time I try to launch For Honor I get For Honor has crashed along with a message from For Honor saying An error has occurred the GPU driver has crashed.

As for the GPU issue, can you please ensure your drivers are up to date?

If the issue is still persisting, Can you please create a case on the support website and submit your DxDiag and MsInfo files for further investigation.

So it just started happening to me, i've tried running steam as administrator, but it still won't let me access for honor. help i'm still a big fan of this game. help out a loyal fan thanks

After some searching it seems that the issue is anti-virus based. Can you make Steam and Uplay PC and exception in your anti virus software?

Uplay isnt here its unreal engin then ultimate chicken horse and thats all the "u"s
