GeForce Experience Optimisation crashes The Division

Anyone else had this? If I use GeForce Experience to optimise the settings the division constantly crashes before or at the character select screen. If I delete the config files and adjust the settings myself it works fine.

This isn’t a rant against the the division as it works fine otherwise as advertised, just wondered if anyone else had this as well?

    My specs -

    GTX 1080
    i7 6700
    16GB RAM
    SSD

I set everything to ultra (except motion blur - hate that) and I get consistent 80+ FPS so not sure how GeForce Experience manages to balls it up so much.

Since I bought my Gtx 950 about a year and a half ago, I came from a Radeon 6950, Geforce Experience visited my hard disk drive only when I started the new graphics card for the first time, I immediately noticed the futility of the program (from my perspective) in about a nanosecond.
Uninstalled for life, accompanied by 3d drivers...

geforce experience is a redundant program, it has some video capture functions, if I'm not mistaken, but to play are enough traditional drivers, as you see it is even problematic to use it.

geforce experience certainly does not optimise your games, i think its supposed to but i've never seen it work

i only ever install an old version to turn the lights off on my card then uninstall it (old version so i don't have to login)

    Hey,

It is possible that NVIDIA specific shadows are causing the crashes, to ensure this doesn't happen you can try to disable them.

    Hope it works!

I'm having a horrible time with the game crashing. I have Geforce Experience should I uninstall it?
