Help, I deleted and downloaded the game multiple times and after I answer the call at the beginning the app crashes. Further, I can only answer the call after I drop out of the game n get back in otherwise I could not press the answer button, please help

The same here with Huawei Mate 9. In the Play Store ratings many other people are complaining about the same issue.

This happens to me as well and I believe it has to do with the game being optimized for the pixel 2 XL's aspect ratio. Best bet is to report it to the Google Play store in hopes that they remove it from the marketplace and force Ubisoft to release an update.

Having exactly the same problem on my Galaxy S8+. So frustrating as I've been waiting to install this. Really disappointed in the Dev team to have such a game breaking bug on the launch version.

Edit: It seems I can get the game running if I force it to run in full screen mode. The Cartman call still crashes but doesn't exit the game. If I switch out of the game and go back in, it works! Not ideal but at least it can be played whilst the update is sorted. Not sure if the Pixel 2 has this option though?

Ive got a first gen pixel on 8.1 that crashes in the same spot

here is a work around I found on reddit. figured i post it here since ubisoft support will never actually do anything and let the community do the real work for them.

"if you have another device that can download the game use the same google account to get passed the phone call and character creation. after that it will work on the pixel 2"
