Hey,
I played The Division straight on for 6 months or so and I loved it! The only downside was that the people I found to play the game with were all in a different time zone and was a little bit hard to do some of the PVP activities.
As for the story line (it's great!) and the single player, you can reach end game level all by yourself or try the public matchmaking. I did it for the first missions of the game, as i was new to it and wanted to see the mechanics of team play. Made it to the end with only handful of missions done trough matchmaking.
As I am on a non regular gaming hours due to everyday life I almost generally play alone, but still have enjoyed the game!

TCTD is something you either love... or hate.... coming form my background ,the story fit so perfect into several scenarios ive worked thru, it felt incredible, the immersion was on target and at least.. my pve side was satisfied, on the pvp side... the only time i wanna be pointing muzzles at fellow citizens is a situation i pray never comes about!
