Let's say you don't meet the recommended requirements but you're close to them, then shouldn't you be able to lower the graphics settings in order to improve performance?
Then how the **** is it possible that the difference between Ultra and Low is no more than 5 FPS?!
Also, why can the Xbox One X with it's 2.7Ghz Jaguar cores reach 60 FPS while on PC we need CPUs that cost $350 alone. Oh right, I forgot, it's because the PC version uses ****ing ****ty DRM, stupid me.
I mean if it's not the DRM then how come it's not fixed or even getting talked about at all. Uuuhh, man I'm stupid, that would mean the game would get cracked faster, so better **** over paying customers.
EDIT: By the way, this isn't meant to attack or offend any moderators or the Community Rep that made this post, because I know you are the people at the bottom line that have to deal with all this. You guys are just trying to do your job.
You say we don't have the recommended configuration to tour Assassin's Creed Origins. Do I have to remind you of your good promises before the game comes out? You said that if we were running Assassin's Creed Syndicate, it would be the same for Origins, that you were proud of the PC version...
As a result, the game is not as well optimized as Syndicate, you lied to us.
And you lie again when you tell us that Denuvo + VPMProtect is not the cause of this problem. Then what are you waiting for to find the real cause? Your game will get hacked sooner or later so stop depriving legitimate players of the game. In the end, yes, pirates can't play it for free but legitimate buyers can't play it either, so no one can play Origins on PC?!
Here is my configuration :
- i7 4770K
- GTX 1080 Gaming X 8Go
- 16 Go Ram 2400 MHz
- Windows 10 64 Bits Fall Creators
- Display 1080p
Besides lying, you take us for fools. I don't have the recommended configuration is it? Okay, so I have to lower the graphics. In this case, why is my CPU used 100% even in extra low? You think that's normal?

This is the first time that Ubisoft has disappointed me so much. I would have preferred the PC version to be postponed by 2 weeks if it was enough not to mess up our processors.
Stop taking your customers for idiots, tell the truth and act accordingly because there you lose legitimate customers who will turn to more optimized pirate versions (since no Denuvo).
I contacted the Technical Service but I don't expect an answer for more than a week and they will probably suggest that I update my drivers and reinstall the game, the great deal...
I have never asked for my money back on a game before, I honestly feel robbed. The system requirements as were promised were hugely incorrect. This is false advertising, stating that a game will perform at a certain level with certain specs; then does not.
The game just does not work. This is my experience at lowest settings.
Lowest settings. I can't even hit 50FPS and the frame rate is very far from stable. Locking the game to 30 FPS doesn't work either, the frame rate varies hugely, stuttering and dropping to stupidly low numbers.
This game is currently so far from stable that I cannot ask for anything but a refund. It is a huge disappointment as I was looking forward to the game and the reviews were fantastic.
Specs
GTX 970
Intel i7 6700K @ 4GHZ
16 GB Corsair Vengeance @ 3200 MHZ

Ubisoft Support on Twitter ignoring my question on how I can request a refund.
Every time I attempt to submit a ticket through Ubisoft Support I get this.

Typical Ubisoft lol, running away from the problem.Originally Posted by StraySeeker Go to original post

There wasn't any noticeable difference in CPU Utilization since Core 2 processors, difference is only in a core count.
Almost all game devs (exept AC ones?) have learned to utilize them correctly. Look at Cities Skylines for example, the run pretty deep simulation (much deeper then is ACO) and still don't have issues. It scales very well on different hardware.
I've looked in Process Explorer and game engine is reloading most (all?) of it's threads like every 5-10 second for no reason whatsoever (you can see one threads are becoming red(deleted) and other become green (created)). Either this is done for protection or for memory leaks "fixes" (actually masking) this should not work that way. I don't say it's the culprit of the problem, but it may be a result of that.
That's why we can't trust Ubisoft. I won't buy anything from Ubisoft, they are fkin scammers.Originally Posted by StraySeeker Go to original post
