My Build and a Friends(His will be less specific)

So yea to add insult to Ubisoft's Injury on this issue:

    CPU: i7-7700k @ 5.0
    RAM: 64 GB
    GPU: 2x 1080 Ti in 2-Way SLI
    Cooling: Custom Hardline Closed Loop

CPU Usage throughout a ~2 hour game session on AC: Origins: 95-100% with temperatures steadily between 80 and 90

Estimated cost of my setup: $3200

My friend's setup is a moderate level Threadripper(1900x) Setup and he consistently runs 90-100% at all times.

There is no reason that either of us should have any sort of issues. The CPU usage issue is 100% Ubisoft's fault and their failure to fix or even acknowledge the issue says a lot about the company and how little they care about their consumer base.

My PC, 100% CPU ALL THE DAMN TIME

    CPU: i5-7500
    GPU: GTX 1070
    8GB ram

CPU is at 100% all the time, I get an average of 40-45 fps in cities in this game, regardless of graphical setting. If I set this game to very low, I still dont get better fps BECAUSE THIS ******ED GAME IS SUCKING CPU USAGE LIKE A MOTHER FU****.

The fact that you now say you need an i7-6700k just to run this game at 60fps is absolutely ridiculous. lmao Ubisoft is a joke. and fyi dumba**, people who have that cpu still say they have the problem. Try again

    Lots of frame drops

Having frame drops down to 40fps in cities with a GTX 1070 + i5 4570(not the best CPU to pair up with my GPU but I can run all releases on high/very high 60fps). Hope you guys can keep patching the game, the last patch improved the performance a bit.

Aren't you that same idiot who posted that ensuring "a steady 30 fps performance is optimal" on Steam?

    Shows how stupid you are.

Why don't you just come clean, admit that the DRM is ****ing legit customers up, and get rid of it?
Oh wait, you want to ensure your wallets fill up at the cost of legit customers.

UBI is really screwing up with this. The CPU is the DRM, why try to hide it and lie to everyone? Do you really think we're all that stupid?

Wait....don't answer that. Of course you do.

We’ve been asked for a reference as to what hardware you would need to run the game in around 60fps. Below are two configurations of hardware we have used as a benchmark for running the game at 1080p or 1440p.

Hardware of this level or higher is required to meet this performance, however, a combination of these will provide different results. Please also note that your type of PC components should not range too far from each other. For example, if you have a GTX980 but using a processor that is lower than the recommended, you will most likely not be able to meet 60 FPS. We encourage you to reach out to Customer Support and provide us with as much detail as you can such as PC configuration details and dxdiag information.

We will continue to deliver updates whenever the learnings from a specific case can be valuable to everyone.

So, you and your string pullers are really going to BS your paying customers? That's REALLY the line you're going to go with? Just double down on the, "It's not our DRM failure, it's YOUR computers that are the real problem" smug, nonsense? Completely ignoring that these specs you just pulled out of your rear-end don't match the minimum OR recommend specs you threw out before release day.

Ok. Fine. Whatever. You got our money. You pulled off a nice scam. Bravo.

    Hello!

    My config is: i7, 16Gb, gtx970

I found that the anti-aliasing settings in Assasin Origin strongly affect FPS. What's interesting is that with anti-aliasing, the "low" FPS is even larger than without smoothing at all.

What technology corresponds to each level of anti-aliasing?

Other settings do not affect FPS at all, I tried from medium dense to max, the difference is zero.
