A Question regarding which stat to pay attention to

To not make this not drawn out I have a simple question, at least I hope it's simple, what dictates the damage of my seeker mines, is it the Skill stat or is it the Electronics stat. I don't quite understand the thinking behind having two stats for the same group? Being a new player it would help me greatly to know so I know what to pay attention to.

Skill power. Electronics adds to both skill power and skill haste.

So your saying, as an example, lets say my skill is 130k and my elctronics is 2k and i'm doing 20k damage if i get say a piece of gear that raises my skill to 140k but lowers my electronics to 1550 my seeker mine damage will either stay the same or go up?

Your skills damage/healing/cooldowns are all tied only to Skill Power. Electronics just increases that Skill Power.

So more Skill Power = Stronger skills

So it's safe to say I can just concentrate on skill power and not worry if my electronics stat goes down but as long as my skill power goes up correct?

Also one thing that even most of the veterans have no clue is that Elite Damage bonuses affect your skills as well - the more you have Enemy Armor or Elite Damage bonuses the stronger your skills will be.

And if you are a PvE player mostly forget about firearms and go for full electronics build. Firearms is the worst possible stat on this game. You get more damage through gear and skills.

I only have what it takes to unlock Deadly, Competent along with Adept and I can deal more damage than 10K firearms players.

    I agree.

I have a few very VERY different builds but they are almost all stacked heavy to electronics.
