    Controller Button Mapping

    Was excited to hear that it was going to happen in season 2
    Didn't happen
    Why would we want pre made button layouts?
    I'd like to see Ubisoft take notice of this request, I know this was something many players wanted
    If it's impossible to make this happen properly at least consider adding more than just two very similar layouts
    A great, if not the best, example of one being
    LT/L2 = Feint
    LB/L1 = Guard Break
    LS/L3 = Dodge/Roll
    RT/R2 = Heavy Attack
    RB/R1 = Light Attack
    RS/R3 = Guard Mode
    Y/Δ = Reset Camera
    X/☐ = Quickchat/Call For Help
    B/O = Emotes/Revenge
    A/X = Sprint
    D-Pad = Default
    Please consider this very simple, yet incredibly positive change for your game
    The happier your fans, the more positive the feedback, the more mone- I mean players start to flow

    Personally, I use an Xbox 360 controller.

    I am perfectly fine with most of the buttons, but zone attacks seem to be more difficult to do on a controller ever since they changed the input timing to prevent flickers.

    Unlike keyboard and mouse players, who can freely customize their buttons (including making a key specifically for zone attacks) we have to struggle with occasionally using a heavy attack rather than a zone.

    As a Highlander main, getting a guard break and using a heavy attack is pointless, so that's the difference between dealing damage or not dealing damage.

    Thanks for the post. The current setup for controller mapping is just a first run at some changes we'll be adding into the game. The goal is to give you even more customization options in the future.
