Black screen after introvideo, game doesn't start anymore | Forums

After I installed the latest game patch (30.10.2017), the game won't start anymore!
It ends up in a static black screen, just after the "NVIDIA, the way it's meant to be played"-logo in the introvideo.

Any idea?

I'm running Win10, which is up to date, and I also updated the videocard drivers (NVIDIA) yesterday.

Hi there. Sorry to hear that! Can you try the following PC troubleshooting steps? You can also try verifying the game files through either Steam or Uplay, depending where you purchased the game from. If this does not help, you can contact the Ubisoft Support Facebook, Twitter, or make a ticket. Hope this helps

"verifying the game files" and an automatic repair afterwards did the job. Thanks! I didn't even know that this feature exists...
