    Operation Just Cause

    Did operation Just Cause but after beating drug dealer the screen went black.
    I could still hear sounds and everything but the screen was black.
    I restarted game and it loaded but the quest remains active but the house is empty.
    I've done all other quests up to the point and can't continue on any further in the main story because of this. .

    Hello JeremyCameron,

    Generally these black screens will happen when the game has trouble loading a cutscene.

    Do you have any earlier saves available?

    Story progression halting bug

    Hi, I have the exact same bug as described above which prevents me from continuing the story. A black screen after defeating the guy in the kitchen op the Operation Just Cause mission. Upon reload the man is gone but the mission is not completed (still says I have to find the suspect).

    Unfortunately I didn't notice right away and don't have any old saves. Is there a fix or workaround for this? Or is a fix planned?

    Hi there. I see that you are on the PS4. JeremyCameron was as well. Please tell me if you are on an original PS4, a PS4 slim, or the PS4 Pro.

    Hi, I don't want to spam the forum. But I'd like to know if this is a known issue that is being worked on for an upcoming update? If it's not, or not high priority enough, then I won't wait for a fix and just start over with the game.

    I have the same exact issue as well.

    I have the same exact issue. I am on an original ps4. There are no current saves I can get back to. Please help.

    I have the same exact issue, except I'm on Xbox One X. From googling around I see that this issue has been brought up multiple times on all platforms (including PC) going back as far as October. How can they let a game-breaking bug sit for so long without a proper response?

    Nearly three ******g years and this bug is still a problem

    I ******g hate you, Ubisoft. Half of your games are unplayable glitchy garbage.

    Hello!

    I'm very sorry that this issue affects you. It was reported to our development team, however we are told it is still under investigation.

    The only advice we are able to suggest at this moment in time is to create a new save file if an older save is not available. However, I can't guarantee that will work.
