I would like to suggest to make this the Suggestion thread and I will add all Ideas to the first post in Order and Category for a few days so we can really concentrate everything relevant to get a better experience out of the game. If the developing studio actually is still working on the game this could also help to improve internal communications to actually get something done.
I would like to start with a few suggestions I collected or would like to make myself:
Enemy AI
- no pinpoint accuracy for AI with e.x. submachineguns.
- no automatic knowledge of player position when in combatmode (even other factions know your position)
- reasonable alert range of enemy forces, if you kill someone with a silenced gun who didn't shoot back it's unreasonable that forces are alerted 300 meter away.
- ammunition limitations and reloading.
- response times of AI reinforcements is insane, 20 seconds after enemy contact is ridiculous.
- sharpshooters and spotters are ignoring blufor even 20 meters away sometimes
- foliage like jungle does not provide decent cover
- enemy corpses disappear but still alert friendlies
- enemies see through corpses and grass while the player is completely disadvantaged
- accuracy of AI in vehicles is insane
- rebel forces drive through enemies and they are not hostile
- mini-guns everywhere are ridiculous, especially mounted on vehicles. I would understand having mounted MMGS but Mini-guns? breaks the immersion
- AI spawns in visible range
- AI spawns in your back when you set up a little bit further away in missions
- AI is not visible after ranges of app. 700 meters. Engaging even in DMR range is often not possible because the hostile forces DISAPPEAR.
Evenconsidering limited rendering ranges if you create a game with Sniperrifles at least the enemy forces need to be ****ing visible to shot them.
- AI long range patrols (suggested by franklin9150)
Gear Statistics/ changes to equipment
- I would like to see some statement regarding the ongoing claims from players the weapon stats do not change the overall behavior of weapons like they should.
- Some of the optics on certain weapons are misplaced / misaligned. (suggested by FREEMAN0129 on 01.11.17)
- Rotor speed of the helos decreases when using new helo controls, tbus 'nerfing' the contextual visual effects. (suggested by FREEMAN0129 on 01.11.17)
- Weapon camos / colors often don't match clothes' camos. (suggested by FREEMAN0129 on 01.11.17)
- Certain weapons are oversized(AK-12, G36, SASG, VSX, etc.) or undersized(G28). (suggested by FREEMAN0129 on 01.11.17)
- Semi-auto trigger for R5 RGP (suggested by FREEMAN0129 on 01.11.17)
- R5 RGP is not shouldered properly. The stock does not touch the character's shoulder. (suggested by FREEMAN0129 on 01.11.17)
- SASG-12 ammunition capacity too low. (suggested by Lord_Failure via Reddit on 01.11.2017)
- reload of individual magazines (suggested by Punkwasher via Reddit on 01.11.2017)
-The 30rnd AUG magazines in the game is actually a 42 round mag, Ubi should have added the 30rnd mag and made that one a 42 round mag. (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-The 10rnd Saiga-12 magazine is actually an 8 round magazine in real life, and 30 round magazine appears to actually be a 10 round magazine. The 5 round saiga 12 mag looks a little short as well. (I do agree seems the saiga 12 is scaled up a little too much) (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-The 50rnd Pmag is actually the PMAG 40 and should only have 40 rounds, and not 50 rounds (this isn't The Division). Ubi could use the Magpul PMAG D60 with 60 rounds to replace the 50 round mag, it's already in the game on one of the special rifles the El Commandante.... (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-The 50 round steel mag used with the M4A1 and other rifles is the Surefire MAG5-60 that is a 60rnd magazine. (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-The MP7 30 round mag is in actuality a 40 round mag, a 30 round mag exists so not sure why that wasn't added or why the 40 round mag isn't a 40 round mag.(suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-The first of the two muzzle breaks UBi calls "Compensators" it has the ports in the wrong directions should be to the 3-9 o'clock of the barrel not the 6-12 o'clock as that would impair ones sight picture in low light environments (even more so than a muzzle break would normally) hence why that muzzle device is designed to be used in conjunction with a suppressor, it would also ruin the functionality of the break as well as kick up a metric f*%kton of dust, sand, dirt, or debris when crouching or prone. (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-The Magpul UBR it's not used properly in the game as the entire point of the UBR is to maintain the same cheek weld on the stock even when the stock is extended passed its collapsed state. https://www.magpul.com/products/ubr-collapsible-stock (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-The fake reticle on the "Digital Scope" is useless and should have been the correct reticle that is meant to be on the ELCAN Specter DR that the scope is meant to actually be. https://1shotgear.com/sites/default/...?itok=A5A_IYEo anything with holdovers would be better what is in the game already on the Specter DR. (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-The field of view on the scopes/optics function in an incorrect manner as the field of view increases when going up in magnification opposed to decreasing as they should be. (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-Surbu Super Shorty shotgun should have one round in the chamber so it would have 3 shotshells instead of 2. (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-The ACOG and "Digital Scope" are mounted too far forward on a number of guns (Example: ACOG on the MK17) as they have a very limited eye relief meaning one's eye needs to be a certain distance from the lens of the optic to function properly so the optics can't be mounted too far forward otherwise they are essentially useless. (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-Side mounted optics rail for the AK47 should not be attached when only using iron sights there is no reason to carry the extra weight of an optics rail that isn't being used.(suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
-The placement of vertical/angled grips are either too far forward or laughably too far back to the point they would not add any functionality or impede one from reloading at all like with the Saiga 12. (suggested by FerroMortem on 01.11.2017)
Immersion
- the game world feels very empty sometimes. There is no sense of purpose, NPCs are hardly doing anything other than walking around.
- the behavior of some NPC characters feels really strange. People just give up their cars they might have spend years on saving to buy them. Cartel lieutenants just give up the information every time instead of being loyal sometimes and refuse.
- every sicario looks the same (pointed out by igrvks)
- no drug transports? no loading of goods? no normal life stuff like firetrucks, markets, hunting?
- adult stuff. in a drug riddled world where are the girls? I saw one scene with some dancers in a street and that was it.
- eating; sleeping, cleaning? encampment? Some do it, many don't. There are some mechanics that simulate such behavior and they are doing wonders for the immersion. Doesn't help though if I encounter them every hour or so.
World interactions
- bolt cutters for wire-fences (suggested by SuperDarkDuck)
- corpse dragging (suggested by SuperDarkDuck)
- interactions with civilians; consequences of unidad, SB, rebels or Ghosts killing to many should resort in some kind of resistance.
- timer to set day/nighttime for bigger ops
bugs or changes
- disabled AA SAM stations need to be out for longer
- reset of areas needs to be later (like setting up a roadblock that magically disappears a few minutes later)
- inability to shoot through car windows with higher caliber guns like the .338 needs to be fixed.
- Skill bonus medals still not working properly. (suggested by FREEMAN0129 on 01.11.17)
- PVP's headshot sound effect is also added to PVE. (suggested by FREEMAN0129 on 01.11.17)
- In co-op when I fast travel bring my teammate with me. (suggested by ruffruff13 on 01.11.17)
- command single ghosts to set position (suggested by Punkwasher via Reddit on 01.11.2017)
- restart from last savegame (optional) (suggested by Punkwasher via Reddit on 01.11.2017)
-New game plus
Ability to reset story missions and to play through the story again with your maxed out ghost in correct order (suggested by igrvks on 01.11.17)
-Unequip primary weapons and/or backpack
Possibility to go in with just a pistol and pick up your primary weapons from enemies you kill. Possibility to have just one primary. Possibility to choose your own equipment like a true elite soldier (suggested by igrvks on 01.11.17)
-Customize AI team member outfits and loadouts
Possibility to have your team look like elite soldiers and not some Metallica music video extras. Possibility to choose your teams equipment like a true elite soldier unit team leader. (suggested by igrvks on 01.11.17)
[ suggested by FerroMortem]

-Up the bullet velocity, and reduce the bullet drop.
- Changing the switch shoulder button to something that does not bring the player's index finger off the trigger, as this greatly limits one's reaction times in close quarters.
- Increase the aiming speed (so that one can shift their point of aim while aiming down sights faster) as it's currently hard to move one's point of aim from one target to another quickly (especially in close quarters combat).
- Option to lock aiming to 3rd person for Assault Rifles, SMG's, PDW's so one does not inadvertently go into 1st person in close quarters scenarios.
- A setting to remove enemy positions (highlighted in orange or purple) from the minimap, just have a minimap without any additional information on it.
- More scope/optic options for the machine guns they would benefit from the already existing 4x optics and magnifiers in the game, maybe an ACOG 6x48 as another option.
- Fixing the size of the miniguns they seem to be at the incorrect size by a considerable amount, may not be able to be changed but if possible would be nice they look cartoony at the current size, or just replace them with any of the ones in the line below.
- More mounted guns on cars and machine gun emplacements such as a DShK, and Browning M2 .50, 240b, and PKM.
- Limiting the helicopter response to 1-3 at tops over 10-30min.
- Increasing the enemy ground vehicle response time, and increasing the time between more enemy cars showing up, as well as decreasing the number of cars in total.
- Ability to use only a handgun (that is concealed) and no primary/secondary long guns/weapons on one's back, it kinda blows the whole clandestine operations thing when one can walk thru a village/town with two guns on ones back and it does not compromise the mission when you walk by 13 civilians who would most likely rat you out to the cartel or at the very least cause a panic. Possibly have the ability to conceal a small PDW/SMG in a backpack would be nice to have less overtly tactical backpacks.
- Civilians should have a larger impact on one's mission one could gather intel on targets/missions by asking them for information this may mean bribing them. In addition, the civilians living in close proximity to cartel outposts/territory should be able to rat out the player to the cartel and would be less likely to help one of the ghosts as they would have to live with the consequences of being a rat in cartel territory.
- Helicopter flying should be altered my recommendation would be something like "Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising's" flying mechanics.
- Black & White thermal as a menu option for the thermal goggles or the primary option, and the ability to switch between white hot and black hot thermal.
- Increase distance mortars can be dropped. (get rid of the mortar that spawns right next to where the mortars are going to strike make it be fired from much further away or just out of sight to the player not 100m away....)
- Option for players to change the 3rd person aiming reticle/crosshair, to just a dot. Could be a default option for ghost/extreme mode.
- Fixing the aesthetic and function of the Command wheel. 1st off it would be nice not to have the command wheel to be very off-putting bright colors, black-grey that is semi-translucent color would be much less intrusive. More commands such as formations wedge, vee, line, column, echelon, diamond, and staggered column for example. More fleshed out rules of engagement. Look at Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising for a good example of how to make a command wheel and what to put in one for a console.
- Fix the field of view on the scopes/optics in the Beta a few of them functioned in an incorrect manner the field of view increases when going up in magnification.
- Semi-automatic fire should be as fast as the player can pull the trigger, and not artificially limited so that the player can only get off "X" amount of shots before the game has an artificial pause in one's fire before one can continue shooting.
- Red dots & red dots with magnifiers for the MK14 and SR25.
- Need a larger ammo count for the semi-auto DMR's/Snipers like the MK14, SR25, and SVD one can carry plenty of 7.62 mags & should not be limited to 60 rounds.
- Allow the Scorpion sidearm to have a suppressor and semi-auto fire mode.
- Suppressors for machine guns (Russians use them on PKM & PKP's, Plenty of companies make suppressors for Machine Guns now and they are not anywhere near as long as the one in the game...)
- Surbu Super Shorty shotgun should have one round in the chamber so it would have 3 shotshells instead of 2.
- Unidad Response when chasing the player should be more so on foot than by any kind of vehicle when they chase you on foot it's actually fun and a can be a challenge 12-16 guys chasing one up the side of a mountain is Good Gameplay, annoying helicopters/gun trucks not so much having them dismount when possible to chase the player is preferable. Helicopters could drop off people flanking the player of the player, while cars drop off people to chase the player on foot. Unidad should not shoot out the side of the cars makes for annoying Gameplay have the gunner shoot but not the passengers.
- P416 should have better damage. No reason any 5.56x45mm should be any more or less powerful out of the same length barrel in another gun in any meaningful way if so they would be nearly indiscernible only states that should change is handling/recoil characteristics if one wants a change in damage/ballistics, add more calibers (6.8 SPC) (.300 blackout) (6.5 Grendal) etc...

Additional content
World Mission Generator (suggested by Kean_1 on 01.11.17 - see specifics in post below)
- Additional placement markers. Seems each player can place one or two markers in the beta. For the purposes of better coordination/planning for different contingencies the ability for an individual's to place 4-8 markers (four letters) and (four numbers) would help considerably.
- More clothing slots up to 8-10.
- Saved Weapon loadout's to be able to switch between them quickly.
- M81 Woodland Camouflage, the woodland in the game looks a bit off with too much tan.
- Ranger Green color as an option.
- Fast Roping from helicopters, and rappelling/climbing gear for cliffs/buildings steep terrain.
- Ability to tap the shoulder of the person in front of you activating the vibration on the other player's controller. Used for nonverbal communication to indicate when to go into a building/around a wall when. (would be of most use when one is in first person aiming).
- Visible Night vision goggles on helmets.
- Hostage rescue missions.
- Area Defense Missions could be a building, or crash site (if done right not a cliche progressive wave system but maybe one large ground assault (enemies on foot not in cars) on a position followed by escape and evasion of that area with increased patrols in a several square kilometer area) could be great.
- CSAR (Combat search and rescue) missions could be good, have one be able to use govt assets like a predator drone, maybe resupply drops and have a small chance of the aircraft being shot down and one's team is then retasked with destruction of the crash site and recovery of vital assets/personnel before the enemy finds it and compromises the Ghost team.
- Map and handheld Compass.
- M72 LAW.
- Enemy Checkpoints & Beter mission endings.
At the end of missions when the player has to escort someone to a safe house/rally point one could have to take the package on foot to best evade checkpoints patrols without being detected.
One could also choose to drive the hostage/informant there and dress in civilian clothing trying to get thru the checkpoint/checkpoints without being detected. One might have to bribe the guards at the checkpoint (maybe have some sort of random factor to cause the player to be detected. Or if they don't bribe them well enough they don't let you pass) the catch is that the team only has a certain amount of cash to bribe people with for the entire game, be that guards or civilians (to get intel or to not have the civilians not give you up to the enemy, depending on the relative distance or scope of influence the cartel has on the civilians they would be more or less inclined to help or rat you out.) if it goes south at the checkpoint maybe they kill the person the team is escorting, or the team is compromised.
- Survival. Arguably there is not enough emphasis put on the clandestine operations with minimal support in a hostile country, a survival component in the game could improve that as well as the bribing system above. It would be great to see on "ghost difficulty" to have ones clothing actually impact the wellbeing/health (for lack of a better term) of the player. The player would have to source shelter water and food. The shelter could encompass ones clothing a basecamp (that one finds/chooses) and a safe house. One could have to gather water periodically, same goes for hunting or stealing food (not to the point it's a nuisance though). If one is hungry/thirsty they would have less energy to do things. They would get more fatigued at a faster rate, it would take longer to recover stamina. If one is too cold they would be less accurate and wouldn't be as quick at doing things like switching guns, equipment, reloading, etc.. and maybe more scope sway as a result.
- Stand-alone 40mm grenade launcher as a secondary weapon, either the Milkor M32A1 Grenade Launcher or the M320 (as a stand-alone).
- Higher magnification scopes 4x-5.5x. Need variable power optics 1-6x or 1-8x on the assault rifles/battle rifles and higher still for the Snipers/DMR's.
- Higher Magnification on the binoculars.
- Snow for a weather effect.
- Ability to chain waypoints for AI or human players (if its to hard for the AI just make it a thing for the humans on coop).
- PenCott Camo, German Flecktarn Camo (woodland in particular).
- Add local Bolivian clothing to be available for the player to wear, with a stealth bonus in populated areas/around people.
- Stealth perks for using the right camo in the right region.
- Dragging downed teammates to cover not sure why this isn't a basic thing in "tactical" games.
- Short Barrels on more guns.
- Breaching charges, & devices. Six12 breaching shotgun (under mounted) and stand-alone with SilencerCo Salvo.
- IR strobes.
- Smoke Grenades (40mm, and handheld)
- Signal Flares.
- Chem Lights.
- M18 Claymore (user should be able to detonate it, and the ball barrings should be in game projectiles)
- Thermite/incendiary grenade to disabled vehicles and enemy equipment.
- Map and handheld Compass.
- Watch to check the time of day.
- Weapon mounted Range finder should be functional.
- SureFire Flashlights with an infrared setting to use with night vision & NonInfrared standard setting for daytime use.
Smaller "SureFire" flashlights for the Handguns/PDW's/SMG's.
- Bipod's"Grip Pod" "Atlas Bipod" "Spartan Precision Equipment Javelin bipod"
-More stock and furniture options would be nice,
Magpul STR, CTR, and MOE SL, MOE AK (& a functioning UBR) stocks. Could have an AR-15 to AK stock adapter so the AR stocks could be used on the AK (could be the rifle dynamic adapter)
[Suggested by Vargus17]
- Midwest Industries M-Lock Handguards for the AR15's.
- BCM KMR Handguards's.
- Midwest Industries Handguard & Gas tube rail for the AK.
- Different sportscars than just Lambos.
- More than 1 person in civvy cars.
- SB vehicles as rare civvy cars.
- Ability to keep Buchon vehicles.
- Female drivers.
- Smarter traffic that knows how to go around or get the F outta dodge.
- Traffic of varying speeds that pass each other.
- SB drug planes in the air.
- Ability to shoot Cobras rotors like other helos.
- Random spawn of different patrol helos instead of all Blackhawks.
- Take over SAMs to fire on enemy choppers.
- More wildlife and more dangerous (I keep hearing about jaguars) with better hit boxes that can actually be hit by vehicles.
- Ability to shoot out tail rotors.
- Flat tires should effect steering/speed.
- Ability to target through vehicle windows.
- Don't quit my game when I kill civvys just subtract 500 from a random resource and when I am at 0 for all 4 then kill me OR have Rebels attack me -
until I leave the area (say a 2km zone).
- More variety to enemy used weapons. (May have already been said.)
- Backwards caps for all baseball hats.
- More feminine colors for civvy clothes for female characters.
- M11 should have higher mag capacity and have suppressor.
- M11 and Skorpion should be SMGs not pistols.
- Go through all your weapons and fix visual/clipping issues with both in game and in Gunsmith models.
- Rain poncho with diffrerent colors/camos.
- Pick where you carry pistol, shoulder holster or thigh.
- Triple tap should bring up secondary longarm when all holstered.
- Civvys should panic over everyone's displayed weapons or no ones.
- Ability to change drone loadout in game.
- Ability to extend/retract buttstock in game.
- Loadout menu fixes that put tabs that are used more at the top, like TACMAP, LOADOUT, SKILLS, and SPECIAL OUTFITS, CLOTHES, -
ACCESSORIES.
- Should have wood grain colors for weapons with wood furniture like AK47 and SVD.
-Ammo should be mag capacity based, not arbitrary numbers.
- Option to have to search bodies for ammo.
- Screen should be slightly darker/have less glare when wearing sunglasses.
- Option to auto-remove sunglasses.
- Better vehicle side impact damage.
- Remove lights without sources (like headlights that are smashed/cave lights).
- Vehicle headlights with multiple settings, LOW/HIGH/FOG and ROOF/OFF.
- Better damage models on vehicle lights where half a headlight is still lit when vehicle is damaged.
- Delayed explosions sounds for far off detonations.
- Better vehicle sounds. (some sound like lawn mowers and some like Hummer seem to lose engine noise at top speed.
- Speedo for cars, altitude and speedo for planes.
- Different top speeds for helos and faster planes.
- Varying colors for C47 plane.
- Weapons on planes. (both the Cessna and C47... Puff the Magic Dragon, anyone?)
- More color varieties for accents on weapons especially reward/store color schemes. (An allred gun, c'mon Ubi)
[Suggested by KnightGhostbear]
- M60E4 M16A4 M82A1 M9 Pistol M249
- HK21E MG3 MG4 MG36
Now as I said, I would like to add every suggestion/change you wish to see in the game to this list in the next few days. I focused on changes that are not related to cosmetics as for I do not care for them and they have been brought up many times. Please add the category you think is fitting for the change.
Cheers lads.
Wow, this covers a lot man, great work sorting through it all! i hope Ubisoft can implement all of these at some point but seeing even half of these would make me so happy to see.
This definitely imo has to be all the most important things i've seen suggested. now we just need to get enough support for this to show Ubisoft we want it.
IMO, what this game needs is a custom mission generator where the player could set up missions / scenarios by selecting available parameters within an interface such as:
- Location (predetermined locations within a province the players can choose from)
- Type of mission (e.g. assassination, hostage rescue, kidnap, acquire intel, assault, defend, etc.)
- Start time / time of day
- Weather
- Restrictions (e.g. loadout, being spotted, timed mission, etc.)
- A random option where the system creates a mission for you
- Enemy settings
- etc, etc.....
As it is, the current missions are stale for most players. A mission generator would help break this monotony I believe and add to the replayability. The above explanation is simply to provide a general idea.
Another thing I would like to see would be the option to disable skills once acquired. In other words, the ability to shut of things like the stamina skill, ammo retention, bullet resistance, explosion resistance, etc.
As it is now, if you want these turned off for a more hardcore experience, you have to create a new character and not activate those skills. You can't go back once you have activated them.
This has been brought up many times to the Dev's and Ubisoft representatives have acknowledged our desire for this a few times, all we can do now it wait and be hopeful.Originally Posted by Kean_1 Go to original post

Thank you for the kind response. I really do hope something constructive will result from this posts.
I'm fully aware though that many decisions are not made by community support or the programmers themselves, but management who will focus naturally on the monetary aspects.
I wholeheartedly believe though that every game studio still has some people who want to create a great experience and what games where also meant to be: a piece of outstanding art.
Most if all these Ideas are great and have been suggested several times before.
The Problem is, that Ubisoft does not give us a clear Information besides that Bot-esque "Thanks for your Feedback I will pass this on to the Devs". I mean, come on, does anybody believe this?
It is a simple Question:
Will there be NEW PvE Content?
Real Content, not useless Weapon ReSkins, Fixes or Weekly Challenges. Anything like new Missions, new Modes, Mission Generator, something that makes this Game interesting again.
Simple Question, Ubisoft. What about a simple Answer?
