Hi guys, i have tried searching but it keeps failing, I recently started playing. Im at lvl 20 so far. Trying to bang out everything in each map area before moving to the next but i am having a real issue with "Steal the Plane" side quest.

Doesn't seem to matter which plane i try and steal, i simply cannot gain altitude, i take off just fine, then the plane just drops altitude, i throttle up, pull back on the stick.. still.. nothing. Am i missing some "trick" to this? Choppers are cake, no issues there.. but the planes... i swear i will have no hair by the end of the week....

for planes, you pretty much have to park your hand on the [Shift] and stay on the throttle, then continually bump your controls to manage climb rate and manuvers

Sounds like you stalled your plane.

Don't fully pull back the analog stick. Fly horizontally, gain stable speed, pull the analog softly, and you will safely gain altitude.

You're not flying a fighter jet. So take it easy with the control.

Now this makes more sense than any other "tip" i have read, i will try it when i get home, Thanks!
