It showed some new animals, moving on ziplines looks better - vehicles look a lot of fun.
I like the sound of the guns, been watching some old trailers again, thinking weapons sound better than in the last game.
The trailer is short so its hard to tell but the world looks more colorful - liking some of the plants, rocks look nice, also liked the area showing the train tracks.
Coop looks a blast.
Very short, but a few small new tidbits to dig into. I'll second champs mention of ziplines looking like they work, maybe a bit more smoothly. Maybe thats because the one in the trailer didn't seem as steep as they usually are in the games, so they were moving at a slower rate that was easier to really see what was happening. They used the scorpion on it, which I never liked that gun but we knew it was back, model at least looks improved. The flamethrower guy did not look like a heavy to me, so I wonder if the flamer guys are different now. The bow made it's debut in a blink & you'll miss it clip, but I loved the millisecond it was there & I'm pretty sure that was a wolverine diggin' in on that guy's junk. Those were the best things I noticed...
Well we're still tethered to our coop partner, so we can't be on opposite sides of the map, but hopefully we can get a little further apart than before, for outpost purposes...Originally Posted by akilyoung Go to original post
It will be as focused or un-focused as you want it to be, depending on whether you choose to play coop or not... Everything you saw in that trailer could be engaged with in SP as well.Originally Posted by truesurv1val Go to original post
Ubi-Swaguchi with Far Cry 4 we had the buzzer (micro light) and could use the wing suit so the glider didn't really get used as much as it used to with the previous games in the series.
Now with the micro-lite (buzzer) we could attach to that using the grappling hook which was great fun - unfortunately we could not shoot a weapon while hanging from the grappling hook (in a way it's understandable)
However with this new games we are saying short footage of helicopters, planes and Dan Hay has said that the wingsuit is back (mentioned a stuntman in FC5)
The question I would love to know is this.
With flying vehicles can we attach to all of them with the grappling hook while another player flies the vehicle ?
I have never tried with Far Cry 4 but it might also be fun if we could do this with the glider, good for swooping in quietly so a player could attach or detach from the glider.
As there has been this mention of a stuntman I really hope we get a motorbike or dirt-bike in Far Cry 5.
I saw the mountain lion at 0:14, but where was there a bobcat? So awesome that they did put a wolverine in and it chomps down on crotches! hahahaOriginally Posted by Viragoxv535 Go to original post

For one, you'd really have to time it because unlike the buzzer, a plane cannot hover while you grapple to it. Also the speed factor in general would be an issue, the buzzer was pretty slow, planes will undoubtedly be significantly faster.. Would be awesome to be able to grapple to plane whilst wingsuiting behind it to get pulled way further and then swoop down into a liberation town or something though! And I'm still fully with you on dirtbikes, really hoping they're saving revealing those to us!!!
