Hi guys,
Bough the game today and still did not played it since i am so upset from the benchmark results.
I just want to know if it is normal to get:
1) Stable - 7078 frame score - 61 avg' fps - All graphic setting on Very low
2) Low - 6027 frames score - 53 avg' fps - high settings (Vsync off)
My Machine:
I5 3570k (3.8Ghz)
GTX 1070 (388 driver up to date)
8GB Ram
Windows 10 up to date
Nothing is running on the background.
I know my CPU is a bit old, but getting 60 fps when everything is on VERY LOW ?
And the cpu is not THAT old
Any ideas?
Thank you.
Hi there! Firstly, we would advise making sure that your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Assassin's Creed: Origins, as described HERE, and following up on this by providing your MSINFO and DXDIAG information to our technical teams, whom can be reached by way of the instructions detailed HERE.
4 cores is plenty enough. I'm not sure where these lies, rumors, and witch hunts keep coming from but enough of that crap.
The problem is they don't meet rec spec and their CPU is outdated. That CPU came out in 2012, it's Ivy Bridge. We have had 4 other generations, since then.
My performance while not ideal, is more than stable and definitely way better than what you're getting.
My specs:
7700k 4.4ghz
GTX 1080
16GB DDR4
2560X1440 on the Very High preset.
Average 60-90fps
The game is CPU intensive and has performance issues, yes but not like that.
When you play on PC, you have to keep the hardware updated.
I'm sorry, I just can't stomach anymore of this "4 cores isn't enough" BS from you people, or anymore "please check minimum requirements" BS from Ubisoft, it has already been proven by a ton of coders all around the world that the VMWare copy protection is causing high CPU usage up to 90% or even 100% or more for some people. The game's executable is making excessive calls to the CPU and hammering it constantly which is hurting performance. If you can run the game smoothly on your 8 or 12 core CPU that's great, good for you, but not everyone wants to go drop 300-400 dollars or more on a CPU upgrade so they can run the game AND the copy protection. This VMWare garbage is only hurting the paying customers, and I strongly suggest that Ubisoft remove it soon before a lot of people decide not to buy their other upcoming games.
4 cores is plenty for gaming , there are a ton of games more demanding than this that do not have this problem, because guess what...they don't have the same ridiculous copy protection.
Why don't you actually learn some of the facts before posting this ridiculous nonsense next time?
