1) Dont group up like a ganking scrub.
2) Its not instant, its damage with drop off. Dont be in the middle.
3) Variety is the spice of life.
4) It does kill team mates.
Arrow storm has an easier time killing a whole team because its area is huge and doesnt rely on your enemies playing like fools to get a quad, can wipe out B on its own, and can push people off of a zone because of its staggered waves.
Firebomb happens to be better than catapult in almost every way. Its faster and harder to respond to because it just comes out of a pocket, doesnt get heralded in by the brass section, leaves a pool of fire that WILL keep people from crossing a choke point or entering an area, can be used indoors, happens to have far more total damage than a catapult, and has the notable distinction of being the only 4th tier feat that can kill someone after its been used.
Catapult aint $hit.

1. Poor argument. What if it's a situation you can't help but been in a close group? The AOE is quite large too, so you don't have to be touching shoulder to shoulder.
2. Poor argument again. You do realise that if your enemy has catapult, they lock onto you and then launch it you are always going to be in the middle? It's not always instant, but the majority of the time it is.

4. Only when they are low HP. The ballista does more damage to teammates than the catapult.
Never seen arrow storm wipe a team of 4 in one go. Seen catapult do it plenty. Arrow storm is a lot easier to evade as well, unless you get hit in the 1st volley. See red circles on the ground? You have 2 volleys to get out of the way if it's in front of you, and can easily roll to the side away, as it comes in more of a straight line, unlike a full circle around you.
You can still hear when a firebomb is been thrown, and if you have good reflexes can move. The times are pretty similar tbh, firebomb been a little quicker maybe. Firebomb will only have more total damage than catapult if you are playing against fools who continue to stand in the fire, instead of evading as most people would do once it's burst. You're also wrong on it been the only feat to kill after its use. Forgetting about a little something called nailbomb that the Samurai also has access too, the one that leaves bleed?
Catapult is strong.
I’d rather see all these feats go away. Traps are horrible as well. There are too many maps with very few and narrow entrances, surrounded by pitfalls.
Plant trap, wait, free kill. More than one person with traps? Guaranteed to hold the point indefinitely.
There’s really a lot of things in this game that give the impression of poor foresight.
I hate lawbringer with full bomb loadout first bomb takes all stamina so you cant roll 2nd bomb takes most of your health 3rd bomb kills, it can kill your whole team if unlucky it also makes clearing minions so easy I gave up on endless march because of all the bombringers like my orochi has to near die to clear the minions and takes 1 or 2 mins lb throws 1 bomb and boom done.
