season pass is not worth 39.99.
its not worth 22.49.
having put a fair amount of time into the game and with the benefit of hindsight id say the value of the main game is about 35 and the dlcs are best bought separately so you dont waste money on the terrible narco road dlc. fallen ghosts is worth 10 to 12 as its reasonably good.
99% of the comestic and weapon pack dlc s are overpriced, pointless and the weapons are significantly inferior to the weapons already available in the main game.
unidad rpk is decent at least.... but.... Rant begins....
the rookie/ starter pack for single players on sale at a huge reduction in the store actually offends my intelligence. its such a blatant con to trick new players into wasting their money from my point of view. it appeared right after the free to play xbox weekend.
on sale for 1600 points. supposedly reduced from 4100!
1600 points is £8, so 4100 points roughly equates to about £20 depending on the points package you buy. i can get a copy of the whole main game for that price on the high street!
whats in the pack?.......an ok assault rifle, a mediocre pistol and one of the worst performing bolt action rifles in the game........ all of which are already available in the game, game tells you where they are and they will take you less than an hour to collect... its fun doing it. plus, youve already paid for them when you bought the game! same goes for the scope and extended mag you get for the pistol and the bolt action.
the rest of the pack is made up of a few bits of very boring clothing lifted from other dlc packs, a few different tattoos, loads of pointless patches and some weapon camos (most of the camos have already been given away for free in the weekly challenges) and a helmet. think theirs a couple of other minor bits in there but im away from my xbox right now.
i do not believe this pack is worth £8.
i do not believe this will be worth £20 when the sale ends. not in a month of sundays, when pigs fly or hell freezes over.
you can buy the game itself on the high street for £20 in the uk.
i do not believe anything available in the online store is worth its price.
ubisoft you blow my mind sometimes.

i get what your saying. iv put in a fair chunk of time myself but personally i just dont feel like it was worth the money i paid at release. in your case you could have spent an awful lot less than you did and got the same content.Originally Posted by jsocfrog Go to original post

im glad your happy with it, really. im not trying to upset anyone but i do think ubisoft should be aware of how i feel as i am not alone. my friends and i check the store everytime we get together because we actually find it funny how ridiculous the prices are.
i am the only one of my group who hasnt sold ghost recon in disappointment at the quality of the finished product. in my experience only bethseda produces buggier games. its a shame.

the only reason i spent so much is that, being a TC fanboy, i had to pre-order, a mistake i will no longer make! when RedStorm was in charge of all the TC content, the games were on point and epic.
