What did you think would happen with a limited ranked map pool? Of course casual isn't much different..because the rankers are joining more casual games for the verity.

This going outside biz is not going to solve our Rasual game mode (casual is long gone).

PS. I would tell the 'delete thread' Negative Nancy posters to stfu myself..but its your call Sgt.

I don't think they should not be able to run outside, but I would like to see in casual they instantly are spotted. If they spend a long enough amount of time outside, say 15 or more seconds maybe give them some damage, or something so they can't just hang out by the attacking spawn. That's been a pretty annoying tactic lately is they defenders just rush the spawn and hang out outside the duration of the match.

I'm honestly just getting a little tired of the role reversal. Defenders are the new attackers, with all the 3 speed roamers. And personally, the answers of the it's your fault you aren't aware all the time blah blah is a huge cop out. Those people are probably the biggest offenders of rushing outside and spawn peeking.

Going outside as a defender is a MASSIVE DISADVANTAGE. So you need to be 100% sure in what you're doing or you will die easily.

I don't think any changes are needed with runouts.

If you die due to runout you are doing something very wrong. Either not droning adequately in prep phase or not using cover and your ears. Yes, if you die due to runout it is your fault.

I ran outside as a Caveira a few times yesterday. How did I not die? Because the guy was happily on his drone outside the window and didn't notice me inside that same window. Absolutely his fault.

I don't know, maybe I was too tired when I wrote what I wrote but looking at it again now, it still looks like I said I agreed with his position about the OP being free of saying what he wanted...

It's even the first thing I said to make sure there was no confusion. I don't know why you reply to me as if I was opposed to that or if I was one of those telling the OP that his thread should be deleted. Or maybe I'm just misreading your reply...

Please see the post/poll below. Not trying to eliminate run-outs, but balance the game a bit.

That said, I thought "Freedom of Speech" was in direct relation to governments not being allowed to censor you or things like that, within the law of course, so hate speech could be excluded from that. To my knowledge, these forums belong to Ubisoft, a private entity, not a government, and they can do what ever they want with these posts.
Most companies adhere to a modified Freedom of Speech clause which states you can speak your mind, but can't be sexist, racist, or use profanity in your posts -- Ubisoft has similar rules. It is within the companies right to pull that clause and ban a user or remove a post as it is within the government's right to actually take away Freedom of Speech. If Ubisoft staff were telling him not to say it then yes my point would be invalid to an extent. He has a right to voice his disdain just as they have the right to voice their disdain for his comment. I was simply pointing out that his disdain is no reason to block his views or shut a thread you disagree with. If that was a policy, then Ubisoft could easily make a clause that says, "If you don't like a thread subject, don't reply or keep it to yourself and find a constructive feedback to give." and then start banning users for failing to do that.

Spawnkilling is the bane of casual because instead of letting you choose your spawn like a normal game, ubi will "randomly" spawn you on the complete opposite side of the map and force you to run the defender gauntlet. Of course defenders cannot choose their spawn either, so instead of coming up with a good defense strat, they are forced to spawn peek for easy picks.

Just let us choose our ****ing spawns in casual and none of this would be an issue!

Again, I completely agree with you here, I just wasn't sure of what you meant by Freedom of Speech. Many persons use "Freedom of Speech" as a blanket statement these days. Thank you for posting a reply to clarify it for me.

The irony here is that some these people saying that his post should be deleted... makes posts similar to his all the time.

i've already made a post about this problem...

and what ubi reply is: We don't know and we don't care.

in first 3 seconds after preparation phase, THERE IS NO WAY, i said, NO ****ING WAY (except for droning but that another thing and not reliable) to attackers to know there is enemy out side because NO TEXT, NO ANNOUNCER!

people who doesn't see this problem seem stupid.

After that, running outside to kill people is legit method, BUT EXPLOITING GAME MECHANIC AFTER PREPARATION PHASE IS NOT.

It's fine as is. Casual should help prepare for ranked and part of the prep is watching for spawn killers as you move towards objective.
