So i just want to post at quick clip of how out of control the current NPC damage and accuracy in the Dark Zone is right now. I have countless encounters and video clips of this, but the one i recorded on PS4 today was just "perfect", i'm dead on arrival the second i step out of the safehouse.
Also remember this is REDS, it's not elites, veterans or named NPCs, its reds!
The accuracy and damage of the NPCs in the Dark Zone has been reported numerous times, and it was even stated that this was "resolved" back in 1.6. But as a solo player in the Dark Zone i beg to differ.
Please look into this before 1.8. I know the Dark Zone is all about being challenged, but this can't be right.

Me and couple of people i play with feel the same about NPC's. Convinced that, especially in survival NPCs start off with "so so accuracy" then randomly they suddenly know how to aim and it is 100%! Can get into the DZ, Elite LMB etc, their aim is better than reds, and veterans aswell, but not 100% (maybe 60% to 75% accurate!). Then all of sudden, 100% accurate for no reason! Same happens if you repeat the same mission OVER AND OVER (you know how a GE goes!) only after 4 or 5 runs, they have learnt how to aim!
Let me save them the effort: OP they'll bring this right to the Devs attention and investigate it, in fact they are printing your post out as we speak

I don't know that was a lot of npcs shooting at you at the same time.
I don't disagree that NPC accurately and awareness is too high, but with classified gear in the mix, I think the damage increase is fine.
Also we don't know your stamina and armor stats.
So... the video not really 'proof' of anything.
This is proof that something is wrong. with how the dev team views NPCs

I read somewhere that the current NPC damage and accuracy is scaled for 1.8 stamina. It was accidentally released in 1.7.1 (along with the silly turn speed and movement changes). So it will resolve itself when 1.8 finally drops.
As for the elbow of doom: well, I'm okay with it (even though it's bloody ridiculous) but they definitely need to stop being able to elbow you to death THROUGH A WALL.
