    A possible solution?(Spawn Peeking/Building Exit)

While I understand some believe it should be completely removed, I think it's an integral part of the game, but definitely needs tweaking. I believe instant spotting once a defender leaves the building and adding a scope glint(only available from the outside looking in) would balance this advantage for defenders.

Advantage: Defenders not only have the advantage of being in the building initially, but locating peekers takes away the already limited time the attackers have to enter the building, take out any roamers, and get to the objective to accomplish the task.

Instant spotting: I believe the instant spotting is a must, given the speed defenders can come outside, shoot, and jump(or run) back into the buildings. An indicator of direction should be added as well to attackers on the screen in the case the defender is out of the screen of the attacker.

Scope glint: Similar to the sniper glint Battlefield offers, if possible there should be a glint implemented when defenders look directly outside a window, and should only be visible from outside. This, given the difficulty to properly see that a window has been broken at times and the amount of windows in a given direction, would make the defender not instantly located, but would allow the attackers more insight on the location of said peeker.

Edit: This should be with all scopes on defender weapons, no matter the magnification level. Iron sight peeking would be left the same.

I'm for insta-spotting, but it will probably be too late in many instances. If they get the jump on you then you're probably going to die, how about putting a claymore down for insta-kill instead of insta-spot?

Glint has no place in a game like this and would probably be more of a disadvantage for the attackers who can't see the persons head. Everyone should know where people are going to peek, there's only a few windows on the sides of the buildings. And probably more important is the fact that the game is nearly 2 years old. If people can't deal with it by now with all the tools that Ubi have given us then too bad. And new players coming in a surely looking for a competitive shooter with plenty to learn and a high skill gap. Don't come in to an ancient game and try to change it when the people who have supported it from day 1 (and have the ability to learn) have no problem with it.

I don't know if that comment about new players is directed at me, as I've been playing this game since the game was in Alpha/Closed Beta.

    I appreciate the response.

Claymores are only so effective, and only work if guessed right by the attackers which window they come out. On many maps there are at least 6 windows to have to safeguard against, when an attacker can break a small part of a window and have clear shot of attackers at many times.

Not directed at you, just see a lot of new players complaining/people looking to wrap new players in cotton wool.

That's true but they also have to guess which window I have put the claymore at, or if anyone else has put one down.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've passed along other suggestions for instant-spotting (and I'm sure the others have as well), and I'll add your thread to be included for their consideration as well. I'll also include the suggestion for the scope glint.
