Hand Holding in Game - Too Many Hints

Hi, I'm at the police station with Token and the game just basically told me how to solve the puzzle. It's done this quite a few times now. I also noticed that the 'hand holding' was going on way too long at the start. You should learn by exploring and doing, not by being told/run through a lot of tutorial. I feel that this cheapened the game, the rating is 18+ and yet the hints were making the actual puzzles down for primary school level (probably even less). Puzzle solving is part of the enjoyment of the game and the unasked for hints rob you of that feeling of achievement.

    Depends where you are

Not in Australia it aint. 18+ R Restricted rating. Anyways, the hints are still too much even for a 16 year old.

Back in my day ... Sierra puzzles .... mumble mumble mumble....

i am the kind of person who also enjoys a challenge and likes to play games on the hardest possible difficulty on my first playthrough but here's the problem....

Studies show that over 90% of gamers are casuals who will ragequit when they get frustrated and will complain so most designers have to prioritize them over us for the sake of profit, it's just the smarter business move and completely understandable in my opinion.

Speaking of Sierra puzzles though i definitely member the first quest for glory game
