Big fan of the Rainbow Six Series, and have been playing since Vegas 2 first dropped. RSV2 had its bugs and issues, but this iteration definitely takes the cake, I believe, as worst Rainbow Six ever released.
The Ranked is still in "beta" after two years, with every patch there is a new MAJOR(I know all games will have bugs and such, however, some of these last ones are completely game altering) glitch.
I will give credit to the many fixes/updates that were implemented in Operation Health. Albeit, it was a shame to see so many issues within the game after almost two years, I do appreciate the attempt to fix them.
I understand PC gets the most attention paid to it. It's an FPS, and mouse and keyboard dominate. Watching gameplay of it being played on PC is just mesmerizing, you actually see the anti-cheat system doing something. Console not so much. Welcome to the world of "report suspicious behavior" , and hell, who knows if it does anything. Probably a Placebo effect, you select that and woohoo! the Siege team is on it, to make the game environment a "better place". Sure.
It's unfortunate, but I guess that is the quality of the market these days when it comes to gaming. Unfinished games releasing with either not enough game testing, or a dismal job of it. Making the consumer the bug tester on the fly and have to wait weeks for a fix.
The most disappointing part is through the game purchase $60, 2 season passes $60, and other DLC $10-20, I have at the minimum $130 invested into this game. And after two years, there is a game altering glitch popping up almost daily, with nothing being done it feels to deter people from exploiting them, or actively ban those who do exploit them(speaking as a console player).
Thanks for your input. I've technically played every game in the series. I didn't get heavily involved(Gamebattles and more) in the online scene until Vegas 2. Kudos to you.Originally Posted by RCT0047-X0556 Go to original post
Chill man, all I'm saying is that you said "worst Rainbow Six ever released", and I was just noting that anyone even remotely familiar with the Rainbow Six franchise won't recognize Siege as a Rainbow Six title. Personally I can accept Vegas story as canon but the gameplay doesn't fit the bill. Everything after Athena Sword would have Mr.Clancy spinning in his grave.Originally Posted by Dr--Strafe Go to original post

The best rainbow six ever is rogue spear and nothing will ever top it, maybe R6 raven shield to a level but nothing will comes close to Black Thorn.
Congratulations. Want a prize or something?Originally Posted by RCT0047-X0556 Go to original post
Back on topic, Ubisoft is so incredibly lazy and slow when it comes to fixing the game. Operation Health did nothing, in fact, now it seems like we have worse glitches than before. They don't care though, they just keep making new games to replace the broken, older ones.
Wow, what started out to be one person sharing thoughts over the game just turned into a bunch of people whining at each other over who has played more R6 games. Siege is its own game. It has nothing to do with previous titles, so why does it matter? Every title should be judged off of itself. Do judge your best friend off of his family? If you do, "kudos to you."
I agree that many people spend money of games they don't play. But with the knowledge you seem to have with R6 Siege, I am guessing you have spent a bit of time here? I know I have, I game share over Xbox console so I don't spend quite that much on this game. I have spent, maybe $50 on this game (Gamshare Y2, Y1 unlocked with renown). But I have unlocked all operators. Lvl 170ish. Point is, if you play the game enough, it is worth it if you enjoy the game. This newest season saw the most bug fixes, the collision glitch was game breaking, but was fixed shortly after.Originally Posted by Dr--Strafe Go to original post
Wildlands, for example. I had set out to buy it. But after the Betas and gameplay reviews, I changed my mind. I knew I wouldn't play the game enough to make it worth my time or my money.
Is Ubisoft responsible for our decisions.. maybe? doubtfully. I think we all just need to know more about their games before we invest in them. But Siege is the one game I will always come back to because it is very competitive and even with a bug being used by an enemy every other day it is still worth playing.
You literally just assumed he was making fun of you, when it looks like he was actually agreeing with ya and giving you a complement. Sometimes, you don't need to read between the lines. JSOriginally Posted by RCT0047-X0556 Go to original post
Please don't piggyback your complaints onto other peoples threads. Talk about what you do/don't like, and stop calling Ubisoft Lazy on Siege forums when Siege is one of the best competitive shooters out there.Originally Posted by VenomViper74 Go to original post
