I've been trying for hours to advance on this challenge but whatever i do it's still not counting the Pilca Mine, it only "counted" once but the notification said 1/3 when it was the 2nd mine i went to...

Tried to redo it, do it while in coop, re-launch the game and do it and still nothing, same goes if i do the others 2 mine or in any order. The Pilca Mine refuse to be counted for the challenge.

I had something similar happen when Unidad showed up and killed enemies I was suppose to kill. Make sure you have indeed killed everyone at the mines.

Cleared the whole place down multiple time. The outpost, the mine and the back entry squad.
Pretty sure the trigger broke as, like i said, it triggered that i cleared it but got stuck on 1/3 instead of going 2/3.

I don't recall seeing the progression indicators your describing, I have in past challenges but not this one at all. You are visiting the grave yard and inspecting the 3 graves again correct?

Make sure you visit the caves in correct order.

1. Silver Mine
2. Pilca Mine (near Pucara ruin and Pilca town)
3. The mine just east away from Inca Camina Alpha where you usually would spawn for the graves

I never once followed that order so I don't think it's that.

I found 2 other statues like this in other mine shafts...... One is in a mine shaft to the east of the "Ancient cemetery of miners" and the 3rd is in the "pilca mines"

There are three gravestones in the Ancient Cemetery of Miners. Interact with them. They are marked with candles. After that, the shrine becomes much more heavily populated with NPC’s. The sicario’s are digging beneath the statue with pick axes & jack hammers. They’re wearing red face paint & the statue itself now has a reef around its neck with a ribbon & the word ‘Pucara’ written on it.

Hey buddy, I'm stuck on the same issue. Were you able to unlock the 3rd mine after that? I've unlocked the first two mine challenges but the 3rd one isn't getting unlocked. tried restarting pc, the game, etc. and even killed all the bad guys in the nearby area. Also found the statue showing "Fortress" but it just doesn't get unlocked.

since I've done it 6 or 7 times in a past few days and all the mine clearing doesn't involve using Ai teammates I guess I can help you with it if you want.
if you're on PC ofc.

as for "not counting" problem...I usually just reset the location (summon a helicopter - fly 1+km away - return). can't remember when I didn't help me
