    Community Workshop: The Recap

    Dear STEEP Community,

As you may know, a couple of months ago, we flew in 5 of you to Ubisoft Annecy for our first Community Workshop. There, SiNoMaTiC, Bonecrusher2D, OakleyFLAK, hammerhead29 and xGBx Boogie had the opportunity to test STEEP Road to The Olympics and discuss various topics you addressed through the Forum. So, please find below a quick summary of updates.

    The score system
Were still working hard on making some key improvements on our score system. As a first step, weve limited the amount of tricks you will be allowed to perform in the Freestyle Olympic winter games events (Half-Pipe, Big Air and Slopestyle) from STEEP Road to The Olympics.

If proven successful, we will expand this limitation to the World Tour feature and community leaderboards in a near future.

Were working on increasing the impact that style and tricks variety will have on your score were excited to share more in the future on this topic!

    The community challenges
Youve asked for more options to browse and find challenges made by other players - out of your friends list and thats exactly what were working on right now. More to come soon

If you havent yet taken on these community challenges, were upping the ante starting on December 5th, you will earn extra Steep credits for taking them on!

    Grind
We now fully support grind behaviour in Japan and added many grind parks, snow parks, trees, rails and obstacles to ride on.

Dont worry if you are Alps and Alaska lovers, weve also added Grind Scoring to the Streetstyler Challenge in Alaska. We also have enhanced the gameplay experience in snowparks in Alps by improving the assist system as well as implementing camera, rotations and animations tweaks.

Shop and Mountain View have also been improved
Finally, many of you asked us to push level cap beyond level 30 and as were currently working on a brand new progression system, well soon have great news to share on this. Stay tuned and once again, thank you all for your support!
