Black Screen / Freeze at End of Match: We need your help | Forums

Is this being fixed? Been over a month since post, and crashes are still extremely frequent.

3.Happens very randomly, some days not at all, some days only once and some days can happen almost every match.

5. It happens in Dominion Matches
6. It happens at the end of a Dominion Game, just before the cinematic and the scoreboard.

I lost all my rewards and XP when it comes. This issue keeps happening since the 1.3 ! It's very frustrating ...

Just thought I'd let you know, that I've just tried the Dedicated Server test. I played 15 Duel matches, and not a single freeze happened. It usually happened to me between Duel rounds, and after the match has been over.

Looks like dedicated servers might fix this problem we're having. Which is good

It seems that with the dedicated servers the dragon is slain. 15 matches and no crash.

Nah, I had same black screen freeze at my 2nd game.

Have You tried the dedicated severs test? We were speaking about lack of crashes in the test.

So I did at least ten dominion matches on the test servers and no freezes so far. I had one crash mid match in tributes but that was a true crash and registered as one (e.g. the game closed itself and uplay offered me to send a crash report) so I don't think it is related.

Acer Predator Helios 300: 7700HQ CPU / GTX 1060 6GB / 16GB DDR4 / Game Installed on SSD
2. It happens at the end of EVERY match!
3. At the end of every match, the game freezes completely but I still have audio
4. Every game mode
5. It happens at the end of the match when awards are being given. The game freezes with audio making me have to open up Task Manager and killing the process

Please fix this, Ubi. The game has been working fine before 1.17 patch. Every time I switch on v-sync, the game freezes with audio and I have to kill the process via task manager.

4.Screen freezes at the end of the game, No audio the only way out is to ctrl alt del out of the game which means I lose any progress made.

Not sure what's worse, The constant disconnect from games or this freezing.

My heart just feels broken and deflated with this issue, It's been nonstop season after season and I honestly cannot take it anymore. I love this game I really do, But this issue ****s me off beyond belief, I don't want to but I will have to retire this game and uninstall, It's causing me too much grief with the crashing.

You put your heart in to a game only for it to be taken away from you, The amount of progress and hours I've lost playing this game honestly hurts and it's incredibly disappointing that this has still not been fixed.

The frequency in which it happens fluctuates. Sometimes it'll be once in a couple hours, other times it's every other match.

It's a true freeze. I'm stuck looking at my character at the end of a match with no audio. Task manager reports For Honor as running and memory usage will remain the same instead of fluctuating normally. The only way to shut the program down is by ending the process. Alt-F4 only closes the window as well as ending task via task manager.

Solo.
When exactly does it happen in the match?
Directly after the conclusion of a match(all enemies dead, minions fleeing, announcer announcing defeat or victory) but before the loot screen.

This has been happening since I've starting playing in late February with a drastic increase in frequency with the coming of the current season. I love the game, but it's one of the few things that drives me from playing it.
