The problem is that aim sensitivity doesn't properly scale across different zoomFOVs.
I have to set it to the lowest for the MSR scope but then aiming with the pistol is unplayably slow.
Best solution would be a "Uniform Aiming Coefficient" like in BF1, but at the very least the game should simply calculate zoomFOV / FOV = zoom sensitivity multiplier.
Another annoyance is that i have to reduce the dpi of my mouse to 400 to stay within that very narrow range of the sensitivity sliders.
An easy solution would be an additional multiplier in the config like in Rainbow Six Siege.
Other control issues:
If you don't toggle sprint off before stamina runs out, then stamina will refuse to recover.
Releasing the forward key while sprinting and only holding down one of the strafe keys, won't cancel the sprint like in any other shooter, instead you keep sprinting diagonally.
If you die while in ADS mode, then you will automatically go into ADS mode after a revive, which is very irritating. (aim mode toggle)
I also think it's a bit weird that your char automatically stands up straight right after a revive only to be an easy target.
If you start sprinting while in ADS mode, then you will automatically go back into ADS mode after you stop sprinting, which is also very annoying. (aim mode toggle)
M8 look at the handling on the MSR compared to the pistol or other weapons lmaoOriginally Posted by stereo3Dgamer Go to original post

I googled if there was a way to adjust sensitivity based on scopes and found this thread. It's crazy that they didn't fix this issue even a year later. If you set the right sensitivity for snipers, then your AR/SMG sensitivity will be garbage and vice versa. I use low sensitivity and a 20+ inch mousepad, scope sensitivity is way too high to make quick, accurate adjustments. I can't even imagine how people play high DPI snipers unless they screw over their AR/SMG sens.
And agreed on the general sensitivity as well. I use 1800 DPI since that's my native DPI for my mouse, but I dial it down to 400 literally only on this game because 0 sensitivity is still much higher than my usual sensitivity when I use 1800 DPI. These aren't complicated fixes so it's crazy that it hasn't been solved in a year.
I encountered this in other games as well , dont know whats the logic behind this but its clearly a negative thing
the way i tried to mitigate it is set DPI to 500 and ingame sens to 90 , i found it to be the best , more balanced setting
that way you can 180 with a AR reflex scope if you drag to the mouse halfay trough the mouspad
pistol ads will be slower but not critical enough to F up your memory aim
Sniper rifle aim will be higher but its okay , you have to get used to it and it actually imporved my sniper skills , youll be able to cover ground more quickly and have more control over you line of sight , i can recommend everyone to adjust to sniping on a higher sens-the payoff is more kills
