Hello. I played through this game 100% on my system with a GTX 780. The only change I made was buying a GTX 1080 Ti and that is it. Ever since I bought that card, this game has not worked well at all.
I currently get this popup every time I play for more than a few minutes...

I even fresh installed Uplay and fresh installed the game itself. I got this crash. Then I verified the files. Nothing is wrong but I still get this popup. Anyone got any hints/clues? Would appreciate it.
So even after this patch I am having no more luck. It always either gives me the same error as above, or just freezes during a load screen with the circle rotating forever.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here? I have an i7 4770K with a GTX 1080 Ti. When I previously had a GTX 780 many many patches ago, the game ran great. Ever since I upgraded to the GTX 1080 Ti, it has never ran that great. I have even clean installed the latest Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the latest 388.00 Nvidia drivers, etc. Nothing seems to work.
Please, any help is appreciated. Kind of at wits end with this game.
Hey KeenJammin! Sorry to hear you are experiencing crashes. Could you try any of these steps that you haven't already? If those do not work, please let support know with MSINFO and DXDIAG files.
I am running into a very similar problem. I have just submitted a ticket to Support with my DXdiag and Msinfo report because I am at a loss of what to try next. I also have a 1080ti, but this is the card I have been playing with all along. I only purchased the game about 3 weeks ago, and have put 38 hours into while being home sick. For 36 of those hours I had absolutely no issues, no crashing whatsoever and the game ran great.
Then I returned back to work and had to put the game down for a few days. I went back to it Monday Afternoon, and all of the sudden out of no where it started crashing constantly. I only play single player at this point. And sometimes 5 minutes into the game, sometimes 30 minutes into the game it crashes. Without fail every single time. I don't get the same dialog box you get, all i get is a uPlay Dialog box saying that the game had crashed, and it asks me to send a report to Ubisoft.
When I check the game folder for a log, all I find is the dxdiag log, which at the end details some crashes, and they all are the same one, it has to do with "StoreAgentScanForUpdatesFailure0". This plus the fact that my crashing just happened to start after the 8.2 title update was released makes me think my issue is related to the update. I have done a lot of testing, running stability tests, and playing other games, and I can not find a single problem with my rig, its 100 percent stable for me in every other task and game. But for some reason GRW just doesn't want to let me play it now.
I have submitted a case, but I was hoping while waiting for them to get back to me, I could see if anyone else were having similar issues. Thank You.
It looks like the issue was my power supply unit. I changed that out and the problems have gone away for the time being. If anyone else is having similar problems with this game, test your hardware thoroughly.
