UBISOFT,
Please throw a bleed out timer in the game for the revives. I would be good with it being half the time of the remaining round or however you want to do it, but the revive thing is getting out of hand. It is playing too far into teams planning, when people should be concerned with taking the enemy out, they are running around evading for 6 minutes trying to get a dead guy up. I get that revives are good and all, but I think I line being drawn on how long a guy can sit there and bleed out from essentially a gun shot, an explosion, or whatever is too much. Just my two cents.

No, It works the other way too. If you add a timer and your team gets clipped the other team can just sit on the body and wait for either you or the timer to run out.
As it stands now you have to decide to wait to see if anyone comes or hunt. Just like the guy left needs to decide to hide or try to revive people. Plus if you have numbers it makes getting the recon tower that much easier.
People need to stop complaining because they suck and cant get the hang of the game.
That's a little far. The revive mechanic obviously exists for both teams, so it's not like OP is saying there's an issue of imbalance.Originally Posted by zPhantomX4 Go to original post
Thanks everyone for your takes on reviving! Seems like a pretty even split.
Personally, I like the revive system the way it is.
The dead have a valuable role to play for the living still in this game; they become mini soft objectives (similar to how the jammer becomes a soft objective). These soft objectives help create focal points for conflict between those still alive.
A revive countdown would remove these focal points, and in a 1 v 4 situation, where the revive countdowns timer has expired, there is no morivation for the 1 to do anything but run (and run out the clock); with the dead still revivable (current scenario), it gives the 1 a potential goal, instead of running away.
I’ve seen this plenty of times, where my team failed to contain the 1, hunted too agressively, with out the tools to trap the bodies, and ended up fighting multiple people again.
In short, my opinion is revives are fine the way they are.
