Ghost War Proximity Chat and Mic Kirk

I am not sure how many people remember socom confrontation (not trying to compare socom and Ghost War) but something that sticks with me even today is the proximity chat and the mic “kirk”. Very immersive. Is it possible to pass this suggestion to the dev team. I know Ghost War isn’t Socom (I think Ghost War is better in many ways) but this is a feature that made the game more immersive.

For proximity and Kirk to work on consoles we would need push to talk. This would also eliminate music and background noise. Rework the comms system and Ghost War will take off.

Americas army uses Proxy chat. I love it. Some Devs think it makes games toxic, but its not any worse than team chat.

Right now since we can chat with the other team in between games. Believe it or not it’s been mostly positive...at least on PS4.

All for it! I'd also like push to talk and open PTT so one person doesn't gold the mic.

This and PTT were among my many suggestions during open beta.

It has been pointed out that many groups use party chat and so wouldn't be heard (or be able to hear you) via proxichat, unfortunately. Implementation of proxichat may even cause more players to use party chat so as to not be overheard by the enemy.

And yes, I loved S:C. Proxichat was also great in MAG. My experiences in both games was what prompted me to ask for these mechanics here.

Good point on proximity chat which is unfortunate. PTT however should be easy to add and the kirk sound effect would be a nice touch.
