These really small and incremental stuff that fans have been begging for ever since beta would take no extra work or resources from the devs. Turning off the texture for backpack would be literally changing a line of code from TRUE to FALSE and adding a button prompt for inventory. It would make a lot of core fans happy and would require minimal effort, yet for some reason devs or their bosses just don't wan't to do it.

I fully agree with this post. First time I've seen a thread address this issue. One thing I hate is that I don't want to use a back pack for camouflage reasons and am still stuck with the camel pack. If you wont eliminate the backpack option, then make the ghillie suits cover any back pack you wear.
