    Jammers....A second thought

I didn't like jammers at first. I also said they should be nerfed. I realize now that jammers are fine where they are. It is like somebody else said the jammers are not their just to counter drones: they are there to instigate conflict to.

Jammers are fine on small maps like lumber but on larger like deforestion they are a little small side and could be bigger say 120m but overall not terrible.

Appreciate you both sharing your thoughts on jammers. I've not seen too much mention on these as of late, so I'm assuming most are in agreement with you guys and are alright with their current state in GW. Spring-boarding off of what moofinsfloozy brought up, any thoughts regarding their usage/effectiveness on larger maps?

I personally love the jammers. It takes away just a little of the hand holding that droning provides, and as mentioned earlier, it does instigate conflict in some cases as well.

I will be honest and say tech is probably one if not my fav class. Its dropped in usage since I prestiged as I started with my other 2 classes lvled up first as both are scouts and use same things. The MK17 is great for some maps but I wish the tech had a bigger full auto rifle step up up from the 9x19. A personal gripe and minor.

All in all the one size fits all on the jammer is not far off but in the larger maps it is a little weak but still does not stop me from picking it. This is in my opinion though

Yes i think the Jammer range should most certainly have size increase, 10-20% extra.

As a primary scout player, I’ll second jammers could be larger.

On smaller maps, they work well as a counter; however, on the larger maps, I can easily fly the perimeter and still spot inside.

I’d say it should be large enough that scout movememt indicator can’t reach middle; or just reaches middle. This would make them greatly effective on lager maps. It would also guarantee players moving with the jammer between them and the scout drone that their movement will not be picked up.

If you increase the size, it will have little effect on smaller maps, because they already are very effective, but will make the jammer more desirable on larger maps.
