Are you a Sniper? Apart from Pointman it's pretty game breaking that a Scout with a SMG cannot take down a Sniper with a headshot and 2 bodyshots.

    It is in my case.

It's clear (to me) that they really need more than one difficulty level / play mode where TTK is reduced, auto marking is disabled, no thermal, etc., etc. A lot of things that the hardcore fans have been asking for.

I'm not one to want certain aspects of a game removed if some folks enjoy them. .....but I do think they should create multiple difficulty / play modes instead of taking this "one size fits all" tact.

No. I suck at sniping. Mostly run the support classes. Scout and artillery shouldn’t have an SMG or at least have the option to equip a mid range rifle like the diversionist or medic. Support classes should have rifles. So I think that would solve the problem right there. When I run medic I don’t really have a problem dropping people with the P416. So I guess we’re kind of agreeing? Or maybe the range of the SMG’s needs a buff.

Hopefully in the next patch instead of giving us more skin and greener bushes they can take some time and work on the weapons. You know... baby steps until finally we get into the enemy God-like Shields

I think overall the TTK needs to come down in general play and be massively reduced in a hard core mode. When players are picking classes based on their weapon rather than the class speciality then the gameplay is going to suffer. Map craft, awareness and aiming skill should be the differentiators, not load out.

I do agree on classes that only have SMG's/PDW's should get the option for an assault rifle. I like most people I play with tend to pick classes solely on the guns and that usually comes down to two or more of us stuck with classes/guns we don't want to be using.

I think most classes should have assault rifles as an option (everyone on a team should be able to use one at the same time).
So maybe assault rifles could be all class weapons, and one can pick n choose between all SMG's PDW's AR's MG's DMR's & Sniper Rifles that are in PVE for classes meant to use those specific types of guns. All guns should be available in the PVP and be customizable.

I honestly dont think we need a hardcore mode, Just give us a proper Ghost Recon mode! 1 mode no need to split the fanbase up. Get rid of this Halo TTK nonsense.

I think the ROF in single player campaign for pistols should be buffed as well. Especially the BFF.

This is where we disagree. If these forums are an indication, the fanbase is already divided.

I've said it dozen times before but this "one size fits all" solution isn't the answer IMO. It's like the story of the 3 bears. While some may feel the game is "just right", there are always going to be those that say it's too hot, too cold, too hard, too soft.....

I just don't think a compromise will be enough to keep everyone interested in GW for the long haul. However, a mode like hardcore and perhaps 1 or 2 options in between (IMO) will make GW appeal to a wider audience (e.g. hardcore, casual and those in between).

More options will bring a higher level of excitement, commitment and replayability to more people. ......perhaps attracting others to the game that may not have been interested before due to the current gameplay (like me).

I really think GW would do well if they adapted it but that's just me.
