Plz for the love of god remove the ability to parry light attacks. All I ever see anymore in duels are people who turtle like cowards and parry everything and get a guaranteed land of that characters strongest heavy. It's annoying and frustrating. And I hate it the most when the Centurion parrys a light then gets a guaranteed heavy which goes into another ****ing heavy. This is the only way I see that can get rid of some the ridiculous turtling in this game. If you agree with me or have another solution plz reply.
I'm not really good at parry and i get parried a lot of times but imho what you ask for has no sense. Some light attacks are too fast to countertime so you'll get some chars simply spamming a light attack and you'll keep guarding untill death or time over.
And unblockables are already enough annoying and I still wonder why they made unblockables attacks with high dmg... Only short range guardbreaking moves should be unblockables imho
It sucks that meanwhile the most Players parry the lights. And they parry it, also, when they are infight with another Character. I wonder how this works.
I know that there are a lot of Parry-Cheaters in the Game.
So I agree with Shadow master, that the lights parrying should be removed
So I have a question to the Non-Cheater:
How can I parry a light attack with the X-Box Controller. Parry the heavy is with RT and the direction of the Attack with the right stick. When I do this with the light attack I get the hit.
Are there other Buttons I must Switch?? And when is exactly the right time?
Thank You for an answer.......... Cheers
Sorry, I main LB so when I hear ppl complain about high damage unblockables I just laugh.Originally Posted by W4rrenD24 Go to original post

@Fairemont:
Sure! But they parry also all if the attacks come in different times. And they also have the nerve to attack additionally!
If you are expert in parrying lights, you must see the animation from your opponent (i think so). So if your infight with a Team member and parry the lights from another Opponent behind you, itīs god-playing! How this can be possible??
If you react when the red cross flickers white, itīs too late for a human beeing. And especially when they are fast lights from nobushi, kensai or valkyrie.
Like I mentioned, it creates a small window where you automatically parry all incoming attacks. So, I suppose as long as people keep attacking in unison, it will extend that parry window?Originally Posted by oo.Frank.oo Go to original post
Its also not impossible you ran into a cheater. It does happen.
As a Nobushi main I must say that other than the dodge>light bleed, she has slow light attacks. As said by Fairemont there is the small auto parry window after you parry an attack, there is also however the chance that the player is spamming heavy (parry takes priority over attack).
Instead of asking Ubi to remove light parries, don't throw out obvious attacks, use feints and mix ups, and learn how light parry as well. It doesn't take cheating to parry lights with ease (just practice and several failures first), just match your opponents guard, be ready to guard switch if they zone, if they go for a light you can predict it by yes, as you said, watching their animations.
For example, I'm playing my Nobu, I'm fighting a warden, we both have guard set to top, Warden's arms and sword start to move, I throw a heavy, parry his top light, the infamous "fastest attack in the game" and I can then shift momentum in my favor.
People do turtle, yes, so just use mixups and look for if not make an opening. (I play on PS4, results on PC may vary)
Sorry if this seems a little snarky, I've just been playing for far too long.
