A 256 pages book that only a handful of fans will buy. I would have honestly preferred an in-game synopsis/flashback.

Did it say how many pages were in the book already? And even if it is only 256, no one would want to read all that in a video-game... wtf.... Sounds like this is a wholly tertiary story that just goes in depth into the already established & known history of Mary May and fleshes out that story. The synopsis of it already exists in the game, this seems like just a deeper dive into that story...

Maybe we will see a movie coming from the story like we did from the Assassins Creed story.
Being an avid reader I hadn't seen the novel, but a movie also would be something I'd consider.
