    Dominion - Boosting points should be more rewarding

    I feel that the currently meta in Dominion is which team can coordinate a better gank squad. I can't see right now a reason why you you should boost a point and leave your teammates in disadvantage being outnumbered.

    Maybe increasing the points per second gained by boosting or introducing a kind of buff for who is defending the point would add more variety of strategies in Dominion.

    Also bear in mind that this currently meta affects some classes in the matter of renown gain. Assassins, for instance, are always outscored and very frequently can't access their feats since they are always fighting in ganks.

    Assassins profit the most atm from the current meta since they receive the most renown for kills. It is a bit weird however that heavies do not get as much renown by holding a side as for example a vanguard, it is said they get the most points by "supporting" whatever that exactly means.

    Soo...I looked up my former source on Renown from Limit Breakers released in March again (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00LH4vsun-k) and understand after watching the heavies' role better now (so maybe the heavies in fact profit the most from the gank meta however Assassins gain a bonus for streaks so...). The general problem at hand is that very few even know the renown differences between the classes and don't have a clue how to act accordingly. I would strongly suggest that this should be better communicated/made transparet ingame.
    In general you can indeed play pretty point oriented atm with the current system as it is and benefit from doing so. Appart from the character specifics maybe if you have noticed that you also get a boost in points if you stay on a point with a couple of people.

    I am up however for any kind of further incentives that promote different kind of strategies. Best would be to add some more team commands. Such as "playing decoy in [current position]" go get the other points/flank the enemy or sth like the Counter-Strike-typical: "Need support"/Back me up.

    Also to counter ganking better some maps should be reworked a bit. Some maps such as the one with the twin bridges need a rework due to its chokepoint after spawn which provides a control spot for the dominating team to cut off the other and prevent them to get to the sides easily.

    Assassins can benefit of it as long they time their attacks to always give the last shot, right? But anyway, I agree that the renown gain should be revisited/ better explained but the main point is the as far as I know the team that boosts points give the opportunity to create the infamous snow ball effects. Honestly I can't see a reason why you should let your teammates aline in the current meta neither I remember any competitive team doing so.

    I'm not so experienced in dominion but these are my feelings after getting into it.
