I need my team to stop spawning in and running into all four players. I can't do that because Group up! isn't enough and you have voice chat off by default+noone is ever in game chat anyway.

I agree, the communication channels are very poorly designed, mainly on console. There should be a way to easily acces the voice chat, currently no one uses it. You also should be able to text on console, either via an app or the standard way.

This has been a long running discussion and I've heard mixed feedback on the topic. While it's not at the top of the priority list, it's something we've looked at and haven't ruled out. If anything changes to this, we'll post the updates.

I really don't get it. Always thought there was a consensus about the chat/voice tools within the community. Never saw anyone praising it.

Handle it the way Ark: Survival Evolved does.
PS4 layouts look like this.
L1 + touchpad = overall chat
L1 + options = tribe chat

Could work for For Honor a similar way.
We still keep the quickchat options but additionally get L1 + touchpad for overall chat and L1 + options for team chat.

I don't care about chating with the team. The thing that we all need is better match making!!! We need 8ppl with equal or rly near skill lvl. Based on overall prestige+win rate...I am tired to be teamed up with ppl who are with overall prestige under 10 vs ppl with overall prestige 30+...Newbies should play with another newbies till they get some exp and gear.
