Can we get experience points in Ghost War PVP Custom games/custom matches? | Forums

In Ghost War PVP, I know I get experience points to level up by playing "Quickplay" mode.
So can we get experience points by playing "custom games/custom matches" mode to increase our ranks/unlock abilities?
or we can gain xp in "Quickplay" mode only?

The fact that you can't use the Trainee perk in custom matches leads me to believe not.

Get on the bandwagon and lobby for custom public lobbies
