Do we really need attacker and defender colors?

I'm trying to get my heroes to look good in all types of color sets (neutral, attacker, defender) and it really hard to do that imo. Usually I can get one (neutral, attacker, defender) to look awesome and the other looks like crap.

Does the attack and defender colors really serve a purpose? I don't think so. The UI is more than enough to see which players are one your team and not, I don't even think the colors help at all.

I propose that ALL colors should be available in all tabs, no matter if you are attacker, defender or neutral.

I fully agree on this post. It is really hard to get a quality outfit when you are limited to the colors of the team you are on.

    Fully support this. +1

The reasoning behind it is that colors pattern don't matter at all while identifying friends from foes. The Blue/Orange sigh is totally enough (you can even increase the 'sign' visibility if needed).

i made a similar post about a week ago.

as we level our heroes, we get color swatches. for me, i find that the orientation on the hero's armor may not be quite what i like and i'm sure many others feel the same way. so my suggestion is:

    1. do away with preset color swatches
    2. implement a color palette where colors, originally from the swatches, will be unlocked through progression
    3. give players a blank swatch in which we can apply any unlocked color to the three areas of the swatch (primary, secondary, tertiary/trim)
    4. remove role restrictions on colors (neutral, attacker, defender)
a.) i suggest removing the restriction because no one really pays attention to armor color. instead they're looking at the orange/blue indicator next to the health bar.
b.) i don't feel this will affect realistic/limited-ui modes seeing as how if a player isn't highlighted when entering guard-stance there's no impact on combat
    5. give us the option to mix and match material types from all materials we've unlocked

i make these suggestions due to the fact that, at some point, every player of a common class will have the same gear. we need something that will further distinguish ourselves from on another, even with the future implementation of "masks".

if "saleable" items are a concern, by all means keep a few color/pattern options reserved for premium outfits. ranging from polished metal materials to silken/hi-gloss fabrics for outfits.

They should make an event where you use your neutral colors.

I look at the team colour. I really do. I suggest keep the neutral attack defend colour, but every colour from neutral has to be in eighter attack or defend. From what i know now there are sime colours that apesr in neutral that arent found in any of the other cathegory.

If you play without UI, can you still see the visual indicators of friends and foes?
