Pvp is a joke, Ubisoft needs to leave Tom Clancy alone.

People here are detailing the problems better than I will, and ubisoft can't read to save their life anyway. I'm tired of this crap. You keep running Tom Clancy's games into the ground, over and over, just give it up, sell the franchise to a company that can do it right. WIldlands is an unfinished game at best, the player base keeps dropping a mere 6 months in because its boring and repetitive, and you finally release pvp and its outright terrible.

You add a lvl system that is beyond stupid and that makes the same mistake every game who applies it has before it. (I'm also not proofreading any of this because if you're not going to put high quality work into your product, I don't owe you coherent sentences.) I should be able to apply the points I earn to any unlock I want, stop with this lvl locked characters. Grinding to 15 is a chore and I can only play this game with friends, its just too boring solo. Communicating with randoms is horrible, and to make matters worse, you did launch weekend and free weekend together. Good thats what we need, flood the crappy servers with freeloading casuals who won't buy the game because this is supposed to be a tactical shooter, so they turn on thermal vision with point man and I get to hear them stomping around and running right up to me because they think they're the ****ing predator.

You know what, I want you to hire me, I have better judgement than you, I have better critical thought than you, I can quality test this better than you. The forums and reddit are filled with people with legitimate complaints about how you've ****ed up for the 900th time. You can't do this job anymore, you need to be fired.

I have to ask what else is wrong with the game. Leveling could use a littel bit more for what you get but they are trying to make the game worth grinding for rather than let everyone get everything they want right from the get go. As far as the game it plays amazing Solo/ or with a team. The only thing that needs to be fixed in my eyes is the thermal vision it needs to be nerfed to only one class such as support who dont have really good long range weapons and only provide support anyways.

they have done a good job making Tom Clancy games for a long time in fact are the only ones that have made Tom Clancy games in the last 20 years. So telling them to leave them alone is similar to telling a father to not care for his son. People buy them people play them and they are doing their job to support the games that are available.

I am somewhat disapointed that the game didnt turn out how i wanted it too but its dang close.

We've definitely passed all the feedback we've seen on thermal to the team. @Punisher Cork, you're welcome to let us know your thoughts on the game, but it will be easier for us bring them to the team if you let us know what you're missing (in terms of getting the experience you'd like). Is there anything you need to communicate better with randoms? Do you have any specific way you'd change the progression system?

I'd like to jump in here Insulin. The leveling system in the game is awful. I agree with the point that credits earned for game play should be allowed for use on all equipment, just make different equipment cost more. Also the Assassin is over powered. he can't be detected with a drone and his silenced weapon doesn't show a sound marker. the team with the assassin wins EVERY time.. It's SO frustrating that everyone just quits and tries to find a server that isn't overloaded with level 45 teenagers that have nothing better to do than play video games

If you're looking for more tactical PVP look into Squad. http://store.steampowered.com/app/393380/Squad/

I'm not even sure if this is a serious or trollish thread.

When you can't formulate a a calm and reasonable review, it questions your credibility.

You basically want everything unlocked for you since Day 1? Then what incentiveses players to level up and play more effectively to earn points?

I like it the way it is. I'm still far away from level 35 to unlock medic and assassin, but grinding your way there is pretty fun and exciting.

And to be honest, as level 25, I've been beaten many times by level 1-5. You have sniper unlocked very early on, artillery too, scout.. All of those are very good classes that can help you win matches even against skilled players.

You can't have everything readily available for you, work for it!

Ubiinsulun, the change I would suggest to ranking up is this: the experience needed for each level is somewhat fine, I should be able to unlock whatever class I want with the points I earn. I played the beta and it functioned that way, and it worked great, because my friend was unlocking Marksman classes, and I was unlocking support. The way this works now is gated, and its nonsensical. I wanted to try the Tech/Assassin/Medic right away, but thats at 15/35. Theres no logical reason for me to be held back in this way. It gives undue priority to those who play more, thats it.

As for communicating with randoms, every developer makes this mistake. Video games as a whole do not need communication. They need cooperation. If I see a random teammate who is sniping, and is doing a competent job, I will go near him (if i'm an assault class) and guard him. He will attract attention and I'll body guard him. I don't need to get on a mic and heavy breath, "he's by the bush, no the other one, he's by the maple tree!" Communication is an overrated instruction from people, some of the best matches I've played are silent because people are observant and perceptive. Thats hard to teach and isn't what casuals really want from a game.

I've said it years ago, Tom Clancy brand is never going to directly compete with Call of Duty and Battlefield. Thats fine. What needs to be done is siphon the people who want tactical play, away from those games and it will be a small number of them, but it will be quality players not quantity.

Christ, I hope you read this and at least consider it before shooting it down.

I only really have a few complaints. Overall pretty good for launch.
    • Intake and outtake scenes are annoying and repetitive. Cut out all the fat between loading.
    • matchmaking is terrible and doesn't take level/experience into account whatsoever from what I see.
    • VOIP is very poor quality and get rid of voice activation. No one knows how to use it with out constantly keying up.
    • Melee is terrible. I frequently die to people 5' away using melee while I am unloading a p90 into their chest.
    • Get rid of the music and noise and crap that happens while you are in a match for various reasons. Sound is incredibly important in a shooter.
    • Stop popping up words all over my screen while I am in a match, unbelievably annoying.
    • Closing out the game to desktop and then re-opening it to go from PVP to COOP just to exit out completely? Really? When in pvp I cntrl+alt+del task manager>end task. Unacceptable if I am to try and get people to buy this.

    1. Agree.
    2. Agree.
    3. Agree.
    4. Are you serious? /S? I've never been melee'd but I try pretty often and its about a 70/30 in favor of the gun in open combat, and 100% on the sneak, seems pretty ok to me.
    5. Have you opened settings?
    6. Really, there's a settings panel.

Melee only works when you are behind somebody and a metre or less away
