Title: The Division Update 1.8 PTS
1. What is the issue you're experiencing? (Describe what is happening)
Starting game main menu character does not load and comes up with an error message. This is not necessary a bug but moreover, a problem with the character has not synchronised with the TD Servers hence for the reason for the message below. But to make sure this is just a synchronisation and not a bug I thought to be on the safe side to report this nevertheless.
Error message:
Due to server errors, your characters are currently locked. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you. You can revert back to the previous saved data by pressing Confirm, but some progress may be lost.
2. What were you doing when this issue occurred? (were you fast travelling? were you playing in the Dark Zone?)
Starting the game for the first time…
3. Are you able to recreate the issue? (if you're able to make this issue appear again, please tell us how you've done it)
Yes…
Happened each time that I loaded TD PTS servers.
4. What you done in an attempt to correct this issue? (restarted your game?)
Happened each time that I loaded TD PTS servers. I restored the licence to which made not difference. I event went to the point of rebuilding the PS4 database as well and made no difference. Would not allow you to continue unless you selected Confirm?
5. Have you ever experienced a similar issue on the Live game and not the PTS?
No because this is my first PTS
Summary:
I would like to point out if this happens when the update goes live and a player loses all their progress as I did by clicking on Confirm. I lost everything from the start of the week, so all my progress for example Mission Master was 703 it’s now 738 including other progress within Dossier Objective Challenges. You will definitely end up with a barrage of complaints from players from around the world. If this is normal for PTS then this isn’t a problem and it’s irrelevant and unrelated. But nevertheless, when this goes live if this happens. It will have catastrophic consequences… Just thought that I would point this out.
